In this video, we take you on a scenic adventure to Blackwater Falls State Park in Davis, West Virginia, one of the most popular and beautiful parks in the state. We explore the park’s main attraction, the stunning Blackwater Falls, a 57-foot cascade of amber-colored water that plunges into the Blackwater Canyon. We also show you two other amazing waterfalls in the park: Elakala Falls and Pendleton Falls. Elakala Falls is a series of four waterfalls on Shays Run, each with its own swirling pool at the base. Pendleton Falls is a moss-covered cliff where Pendleton Run tumbles into the roaring Blackwater River. Blackwater falls looks like another beautiful state park! The safari like campsites sound really neat! The falls are so beautiful and the fall colors all around them are stunning!! The view of that gorge with all the fall colors was amazing! Blackwater Falls and Pendleton Falls are both gorgeous. I would love to do the sled run in the winter. We need to find some snow this winter. We didn't end up seeing any last winter. Thanks for sharing Blackwater Falls State Park with us!

Awesome falls and something I have been missing in the UK due to the recent drought here. Walking the 200 steps down and up would be well worth it to see the Falls in full flow, a gr3eat photo opportunity right there. Twenty miles of hiking trails would keep me well occupied, so a place I would enjoy, cheers Alan

WOW! The fall color and Blackwater Falls made for an amazing sight to see. Nice viewing platform. Love that they have a lot of trail options. It's also good they have various options of places and ways to stay in the area. Pendelton Falls was also so pretty but not quite as impressive.
