Edison ladder truly is toxic for no reason. I have probably 50 games on the ladder and i think 4 or 5 have started with a glhf from the other opponent. Kinda greasy for a almost 14 year old format that people play for fun

OHHHHHHH Nah, you're just forgetting how inflated ego are in yugioh. And before top 64's and 32's it was only 8 for us old school fucks, and even today. just playing in a top 16 era makes you so old LOL. So sorry but it;s as toxic or worse as yugioh has always been, with players, egos and not showering

Theoretically I think those kinds of people play edison because they can't keep up with the current format and make the excuse that it's a bad format, so to cope they play a different format and are still bad leading to the toxicity. I notice a lot of people that play any old format does not play current format at all.

I don't know about this, I have around 50 games on the ladder also, but around 80% of my games start with glhf. I can't tell if I'm just getting all the nice opponents or what's going on.

@@eevee4 Met a few "friends" in college playing LoL that were like this. Acted really aggressive toward people in-game at the drop of a hat. Completely different energy in person though. Usually super reserved and a bit socially awkward. Would have never guessed that they had that side to them at all. I honestly think it's from a lack of friends while growing up and being chronically online. They probably never got a chance to properly socialize throughout their school years, which results in their bad behaviors never being "corrected". And this Supposedly person probably still doesn't have much going for them in terms of a social circle from the looks of things.
