Helpful tutorial but we’re do the little rings for the main shaft go

The little shims are included in case there is any play up and down within the main shaft assembly. If there is no play then you don't need to worry about installing them. If there is, then you can insert the appropriate amount of shims in between the upper bearing block and the swashplate in order to eliminate the play.
