Before the bot horde came, arenas were the best way to make gold. Or rather, the most fun. EDIT: Also note that not all crafting is lucrative. Pottery is ridiculously lucrative since a lot of the important crafting recipes require materials from it. Not to mention that to really make money off crafting, you have to have starting capita or luck to be able to get the moonwater recipe from brightstone. The other things the video mentions is far more reliable and isn't as time gated ie: from start to finish, it takes 2+ days to craft Moonwater Transformation Stone, with one day specifically for the stone itself. It will at least take one day even if you were to buy all the other materials, which isn't recommended since the profit margins are razor thin. Out of around 60 gold you can get from the batch, you'll make maybe 5 gold if you were to purchase materials as opposed to farming them.

U want to make some money, do naryu labyrinth dungeon, people spending 10+ gold on certain soulshields and the artifacts are going for gold+ each, i usually come out of that instant with 6+ gold just from bids a run and the instance is easy once you have done it a few times.
