This knife was not really designed for cutting but for piercing. There's a short video that Jason Knight recently made on instagram about knives like this.

I agree with you. I appreciate my minimalist in d2 and I actually pocket it. My folders are what I'm into as far as materials. But my minimalist or esse with a kydex after market sheath are my small knives. This one doesn't make sense to my philosophy of tools.

Did you measure the cubic depth of the hole int he handle ? I was curious how many drops of liquid could land on the blade and go down within three seconds as well. How long is the handle from the middle of the handle to two thirds of the handle. Also why did you not mention how much the g10 weighs if it is removed from the knife. Im amazedyou didn't measure the heat retention properties, as well. You are super inaccurate on the blade lentgth with your device, also. My device measured the size of the knife as one micro dick nut longer than your device. I'm stunned by your inaccuracy.
