Hard, not impossible. But also the Delica vs the mini bugout, the Delica feels tougher due to full steel liners, which the mini bugout and full size do not have, and also the Delica 4 in m4, k390, is still cheaper than the cheapest Benchmade in s30v, so I’m going with a Delica all day!

@@clandestinetactical that all makes sense to me. the main detractor for me has always been the sharpening aspect as i already find getting a good edge on a standard blade somewhat challenging. i have also never had a full serrated blade, just the half and half, and the serrations always seemed to " get in the way" for lack of a better term.

@@johnruta1359 Spyderco makes several sharpening systems that work for serrations like their Sharpmaker. It’s really easy to use, but you’ll need the CBN rods for lower grits or to repair any significant edge deformation. They’re the best at serrations and best at sharpening them. On Spyderco’s forum, there are some really informative threads about serrations and how to sharpen them, if you are ever curious. Plain edges will work just fine for most people, though, and serrations are just a preference for some because of the way they can cut. Not all serrations are the same, however! Some cut better or differently than others.
@newhuskytwenty
@newhuskytwenty Жыл бұрын
Cut ropes or tree branches and tell me if plain blades are better. No, they aren't more effective. For the rest of materials maybe but you can also cut them with serrations, they can be very sharp and with K390 steel...wow, they last!

@@polarnice No thanks, Benchmade's lowest priced knife is $160.
