Looks amazing. Thanks, Cody. I can't wait for it to get here. There's some places here with stricter knife laws than others, so I can pair it with a knife some places and drop the knife in others without having to lose the whole tool. I appreciate you taking the time to find the right micarta scales for this project.

👍🏻👍🏻 You are welcome! Thanks for explaining the reasoning behind not having a blade. Several people have asked about that in the comments.

@@FittoSurvive Cody, I received it. It's beautifully made, and so solid. Thank you. On top of that, I might be moving yet again to a country that doesn't allow you to carry any knife (locking, slipjoint, fixed blade- doesn't matter), so this will be the perfect thing to take around with me.

What's the point of not having a blade? I assume it's so you can take the thing on an airplane but I could be wrong.

For me, I gravitate to tools without blades, as I have a standalone knife I always keep.

The owner carries a second knife as the blade. He's in a very very strict country ( he didn't say which)

Id call it Cybertool M Minus. Its gorgeous - scales looks extra nice with brass liners. To be honest for its first time such Micarta looks good to me. You just had to find the combo 🎉

Yep, it is minus the blades. So I see what you mean. Awesome, I was really pleased with the color combination as well.

At the beginning, can you explain what we’re exactly looking at: is this a custom made thing, how long did it take to make, why is it called a cybertool, what does M plus mean, etc etc. I have no idea what I’m looking at
@FittoSurvive29 күн бұрын
Hey, this is a custom Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. It started as an original Victorinox Cybertool M. I disassembled the Swiss Army Knife, removed the large and small blades, added a metal file, added brass liners, and replaced the original plastic scales with denim micarta. It takes about 8 hours for a simpler mod. I have videos on my channel showing the full process from original to custom build. 👍🏻👍🏻

That metal file looks like it could be.. filed down into a blade.

Hey it does look nice and I'm sure it'd be awesome for someone but it's like having a phone that won't call anyone I'm just using it for the apps but hey that's just my opinion as it's called a Swiss army knife for a reason😊

Should ALWAYS include a blade.

Stupid question. I have always wondered why the rubber plug in the corkscrew? You seem like someone that might know.
@FittoSurvive24 күн бұрын
Hey, that's a good question. It is a minitool to add some more function to the corkscrew. The grey one is a small flathead screwdriver. But there are some other options as well. amzn.to/4aYNU1L

Not really, at least it's a really useful tool you may be able to carry on a plane! 🤷♂️
