@@theDEUBabides Yep. 1-2 nothing, 3-4 D3 mortals to stuff within I believe 3 inches and 5-6, it heals on a D6, cancels any remaining wounds and comes back to life. Can only do it once.

Also flee flee is not just retreat with 2 units it has to be 1 battleline and 1 hero

What an absolute banger of a game. Kudos to Ridge for playing Skaven and doing so much work with them (though the early charge helped!) and kudos to Fabian for pulling that game back. I learned a bunch from the game too! Edit: I should mention too this game is a testament to why guys like Fabian (and yourself, Ridge) are some of the best players in the world.

Super Awesome batrep. I really like the format of seing some dice rolls aswell as some "during turn talk" together with the over head commentairy (so much better imo), rather than only overhead commentiary with "after turn talk" from the players. And it was cool seing Fabien play. I saw Warpfire minis batrep from LVO vs Fabien's Khorn and that too looked like an awesome game.

1. One of the most interesting battle reps by far. 2. So many things went so perfectly for the rats besides 1 hero phase and Khorne had so much bad luck all over and yet its mechanisms are so strong it still turned around such a game… not strong enough to be nerfed with the rest of the armies I guess 😂

Great game, So glad to see I am not the only one using Plague Monks. I honestly think they're underestimated a touch. Death Frenzy+potentially mortal wounds on death is such a fun combo.

We should see them more often now that their minimum number is 20. 10 models dont do the trick so having to spend points and reinforcements for them to be playable was a bit too much. But yeah, they are great

@@Wolffy. But they're the exact same points now as if they were reinforced previously. So you're still spending the points. People just have habits of getting ideas in their head (censures automatically being the better choice) then stop the thought there.

Honestly Fabian should have had the bloodletters attack the plague monks on top of turn 1. They would have absolutely murdered that unit and may have survived the monks subsequent attacks.

I think that for Bait and Trap your charging units must be different from your retreating ones, no? Ie not sure Ridge makes it on turn 3! Great game though! These close ones are the best ones!

2 units have to retreat, and two others have to charge, but there's no restriction on if the ones you count for charging retreat or not and vice versa, and Ridge both retreated and charged enough units to satisfy the requirements!

In turn 5 the bloodmaster should have had a 5 up ward since it was outside of 8 inches of all enemies. So even if you do damage with your own axe you need to roll the wards right? it does not say the damage must come from an enemy. Small nitpick, the game was amazing.

Wards are "can be made", ie you don't have to (see 14.3) so it's actually good there.

Per 14.3, ward rolls are a "can," unless stated otherwise, so they're optional. And agree, what an incredible game!

7:20 huh, why are you +2 on the prayer ? You have no other pestilens priests in the army , so at most you getting +1 from skaven terrain, where is the other +1 coming from?

Other terrain pieces get rules too. Probably he was close to a Mystical terrain piece.
