➡️ video Description:
Why Blaise Pascal ?
In this episode, we draw parallels between Pascal's insights and the enigma of love. From the irrationality of love to its mystical encounters, we examine how love transcends reason, leading us to actions that defy logical explanations. Explore the Romantic movements of the 19th century, where love was celebrated as an encounter with the absolute, a force that subdues our sovereignty over ourselves.
Explore the concept of sensitive reason, where our past experiences, fears, and anxieties shape the trajectory of our reasoning. Understand the challenges of attuning to the heart's wisdom and the importance of peeling away the layers that veil its sacred vibrations. Join us in embracing the whispers of the heart as sacred revelations, transcending the illusions that reason may construct.

Love is always justified by reason, but like any other mental endeavour, we are all fallible and capable of making mistakes. And some people don’t like to admit to making a mistake.

@grahamgillard3722 yes the justification of love through reason underscores the complexities of our mental processes. Acknowledging fallibility and the capacity for mistakes is a profound aspect of self-awareness. welcome to the channel

@Mindful_Philosophy Life is a long series of gambles. Humans can't predict the future. There could be trillions of gods but every human is wagering their lives on one, some or none. Atheism is a wager, too. We're all making wagers (driving a car, walking down the street, being an atheist or religious, choosing a job, getting married, having kids) all our lives.

Love definitely comes before reason. That is why in modern civilization, the decisions made by a man in love can produce negative and irreversible consequences.
