Not always. Only in this song. He says it's very fun to play. And he's the main reason the song took form, because he revamped the intro guitar riff.

i was front row with my gf watchin u man in anehim a couple of weeks ago losing my shit due to laser precise drumming with so much groove and swing, always gives me chills since 2009 🤙🏼🤙🏼

So damn good. He's what I call a subtle drummer; at first glance, his drumming doesn't seem difficult (because of how relaxed he looks) until you try playing it.

I wish they'd isolated the drums from the rest of the band. Tommy's so bad in here it's distracting
