Grew up in NM, joined the military in 1985 and don't get back there that often, but Blakes green chili burger is something you don't find anywhere else! Thanks so much for this video, I'll be trying this very soon!!

I grew up in New Mexico and Blake's is a staple! Hatch green chile is an absolute essential in any New Mexican's cook book. Bravo my friend!

I lived in Albuquerque for 20 years. Blakes is sensational! They also make killer breakfast burritos.

Every time I travel through Moriarty, NM I have one of these with an order of onion rings. Excellent!

My mouth watered the moment you said Blake's haha. Also we use a soup can with holes on the bottom to chop our green chiles where im from, it makes it easy, you dont have have spicy hands, and its fast as shit. Just do it in a bowl with the holes you made facing up.

I grew up in NM. Blake's makes a good burger, one little thing that may not make much differeance. Blake's always puts their green chile under the cheese and all of the double meat green chile cheese Lotaburgers that I have had has always had cheese on both patties. Great Video looks like a great burger!

I’d love to see a video going over the various ground beef mixes. What their flavors are, what’s worth trying (and what are not), and when you’d use one or another. Maybe the best way to cook each mixture if that makes a difference. Just bought a meat grinder and ordering 1/4 cow from a local farmer. 😀 First one I think I’m trying is chuck/brisket/short rib mix.

I live in NM and Blake's in NM is like In-In-Out in CA, they are everywhere! And they are delicious, just like your copycat! Great job on that Double Lotta Burger. I will say, if you don't like the heat, order off the kids menu LOL. Blakes usually has some pretty hot Hatch Chiles whereas Whataburger has very mild. And in NM you can get Hatch Green Chile at any restaurant/fast food, even on McDonalds burgers! Liked and Subscribed here too! Thanks for making this!

Thanks Greg Nothing like the burger that's good and does not need a gimmick. Nothing at all wrong with simple but good. Keep them coming. We enjoy these cooks. There is always something to learn.

I recently was in NM and had this cheeseburger and I'll say it was one of the best I've had. Really fairly priced for a nice size quality burger and fries. Wish we had one here in California

Gotta have an extra patty on there, one is never enough when you have a bunch of lettuce and tomato on there.

You should do a candy burger. Sweet seasoning. Sweet sauce. Caramelized onion jelly, candied bacon.

Roasted chilis really give a tasty zing to a burger. I recently made one with roasted green jalapeños combined with caramelized red onion, bound with a little BBQ sauce and a good amount of crumbled goat cheese on the burger first. Came out nicely balanced in it's contrasting flavors.
