Blake and Miranda are ancient history. Blake divorced her almost 7 years ago for cheating on him with Ryan Westbrook her married tour manager. Blake and Gwen have been happy together for 6 1/2 years, and Miranda has been remarried for 3 years. Gwen is Blake’s wife, and Brendan is Miranda’s husband. She never had any reason or desire to do country music before Blake. She’d already had huge rock and pop hits and her career had already peaked. Her personal life has been more of a priority for her for awhile now. Blake wanted his wife on his songs with him, and that’s why she did them. She’s not trying to start a new career.

Blake and Gwen are married now and happy together for 6 1/2 years with no signs of trouble. Of course Blake said the same things to Miranda because he loved her at one time. Miranda broke his heart, and he divorced her. He loves Gwen now and shows it. Why wouldn’t he? It’s possible to love more than one person in a lifetime. Just ask people who have been widowed. Where are they? Married and together in Oklahoma at the moment. They’re getting ready to do a pre Super Bowl concert together in February. They love working together and spending downtime together.

Gwen has no need to make a country album. Country has a much smaller audience than other genres. She did these country songs because her husband Blake wanted her to do them with him. She is already a global icon with hits in multiple genres including rock and pop. She’s sold over 50 million records worldwide (more than Blake and Miranda combined), won 3 Grammys out of 18 nominations, and has a 30 year career. You don’t have to like Gwen’s voice. That’s your prerogative. I don’t care for Miranda’s voice or her morals. That’s my prerogative.

I so love that he speaks so openly & honestly of the support that Gwen has given him! Blake speaking so sincerely of what Gwen means to him, what a profound influence she has made in his life, in this so obviously heartfelt speech, is so endearing (so typically Blake😁) & just one more reason why I have always loved this outspoken man!!!!
