Supposedly this song was about Harry Styles when they were dating 😉 ( many years ago) they had matching airplane necklaces which she sings about in the song along with a accident where he had to get stitches while they were on a skiing trip- He supposedly wrote the song two ghost about her 🤷🏼♀️ same lips red same eyes blue couple of more tattoos- beautiful song! They are both amazing at their artistry!!!

I love these little listening sessions we have with you every day, B. This is my favorite Taylor Swift song (though maybe not her best? It is to me) & I was slightly terrified to hear this because I love this song so much. I remember when I first got this record and this song came on and my eyes instantly getting large; chills through my body; totally encompassed. And then that bridge. Holy hell. The bridge. That being said- I actually like this version better. I'm wondering how far after this song came out that this performance was done because (though i realize production vs acoustic-live), when she sings it this way it changes THE ENTIRE meaning for me. This song can come off as fairly bitter- or trying to be kind but you really feel super sh!tty still. Fresh feels. It feels like matching into war. But this one feels more of the lyrics- looking at it now, it all seems so simple. I believe it. Different point of view. I'm so glad you mentioned the dynamic of the vocal and even the piano; the build and fall and the little adjustments so it is not stagnant. I hear a lot of people say this song is very repetitive. The original chorus- I get it but I still really liked this. This one is awesome that she takes one out of the woods out. More so hats off because again it changes the whole meaning. Like when you initially feel so strongly about something (repetitive) but then you take out that second out of the woods and it is actually kind of second guessing yourself. It is awesome. Also, you can sing a cool line under or over hers that is an actual response or the other person's point of view and I think that'd be super cool. You have such a great voice and I'm not sure you even know it haha. Anyway-

i find it interesting how u reacted to this song of hers which is literally her best song written about her past relationship with harry styles which was very tragic because of the media and all that, especially when this is her best performance of this song , u can hear every ounce of emotion as she sing. Then the next vid u posted is a reaction to harry's album. 😂💖

though i’m very late, but the reason why in the chorus she keeps singing “are we out of the woods yet” over and over again is bc it represents anxiety, and how she feels throughout the whole relationship. since their future is very blurry and unpredictable and full of obstacles
