Varg was never "evil". He had his walk of life, did what he Had to do, played the music he wanted to play, and it is still true for him to this day. The music he wishes to play has changed and his walk of life has also changed... But he still does what he must. He has children and a wife and also a loyal (and not so loyal) following. If you ask me, he's living life and he's doing it how he pleases. So should every man...

Este fue la primera canción de Burzum que escuché hace unos 4 años, cada tanto me sale en recomendado y vuelvo a ver este gran trabajo, aunque no es el vídeo oficial quedó muy buen hecho, tanto las imágenes en blanco y negro, la quema de iglesias y la sentencia de varg, quedan perfectos, gran trabajo. Me volví un fan de Burzum y en especial de Vikernes después de ver este video

Burzum is without a doubt one of the best musical things to ever happen to this world. Either in his trve black metal efforts or in his purely ambient projects, Varg displays that unconquerable passion which only the true artists possess. To express it in a single word (albeit a cliché one): the man is a musical genius. Now, we, Western men, may not be ready to accept or comprehend the man's worldview. I do believe that Varg lives in his own world. He must look at other people around him as aliens. He probably doesn't even understand (or try to) them anymore. And he doesn't care. All in all, I must admit that I don't care which are his political views, as long as they help him to create masterpieces such as Filosofem, Daudi Baldrs and The Ways of Yore. For true art is greater than the one who creates it. And whereas Varg's weird Weltanschauung may lead him to do atrocious things in the real world, it also helps him to create things which make the lives of many of us much richer, much more beautiful, much more interesting. So, yes, once again, thanks Varg.

@@Shotgvn I was raised in the Bible Belt, where religion permeates everything, and I just did a complete 180. I think in large part due to my shit upbringing. I couldn’t believe in anything being there after what I experienced. There was never a god or someone listening to me, and a part of me died. I’m not sure if that’s why I like this sort of music or why I’m drawn to dark things or whatever. I don’t think you have to have bad things happen to you to be drawn to darkness. However, what’s funny is I got into metal from the Christian metal scene when I was younger. Now I have a 666 tattoo. Lol.

Gracias por la aportación, se reconoce el esfuerzo reaizado, de no ser por ésta canción, no me hubiera interesado tanto por BURZUM, que ahora es de mis grupos favoritos. Sólo que la traducción tiene uno que otro error, la traducción correcta es:"Aunque podamos creer, que nuestro mundo, nuestra realidad es como la percibimos, sólo es una manifestación de la ecensia. Otros planos existen lejos del alcanzo de los sentidos comunes y caminos normales, pero no son menos reales de lo que podemos ver, tocar o sentir. Gran canción! Es increíble ver como lo que un día fue un grupo pequeño entre la religión judía pudo llegar a ser uno de los mas grandes apogeos y ataques a las culturas de gran parte del mundo. El cristianismo borró todo un legado cultural de mas de una civilización, una religión que trajo a el mundo guerras, genocidios, injusticias, violaciones y aun así hoy en día se ha convertido en uno de los negocios mas rentables de todos, una idiología barata y ficticia que tiene dominado a gran parte de la población. Admiro mucho a Varg porque él siempre supo el daño que causo la religión y demostró su inconformidad con actos impactantes, que lamentablemente fueron mal interpretados por los medios y el sentido de la causa se fue perdiendo. Ojalá nuevas generaciones algún día acaben con todo este gran periodo de cristianismo lleno de barbarie.

Os referis al "cristianismo" politico, aquel "cristianismo" que fue reescrito por los ultimos remanentes de poder politico del decadente imperio romano, es decir, tergiversaron el mensaje pacifico del nazareno, y lo usaron para sus intereses egoistas, la filosofia del nazareno estaba en contra de las clases sociales, de las fuerzas politicas, enseñaba a estar en comunion con todos los seres de la creacion, a amar a tus enemigos, a perdonar, a ser generosos, ya que lamentablemente se haya utilizado ese hermoso mensaje para intereses politicos y conquistas salvajes es otra cuestion muy distinta, la culpa de todos los desastres es de la sociedad y los poderes politicos que tergiversan un mensaje, una filosofia, en fin, somos humanos, y usamos cualquier excusa para hacer daño a otros.

Pensar que Varg era un friki de los juegos de mesa y fanático acérrimo a la cultura nórdica (aún lo sigue siendo) y al mismo tiempo tiene ideales que no comparto para nada como como la segregación racial, machismo y tantas otras cosas que recuerdo ver en su canal de KZfaq (Tulean perspective) ya dado de baja por motivos obvios. Aún así sus letras me encantan, la mayoría trata de la mitología nórdica, tiempos, creencias perdidas, olvidadas. No muchos prestan atención a sus letras y ni se enteran de lo que trata en realidad.

La iglesias son hermosas obras de arte, desde el punto de vista de la arquitectura y nos permite maravillarnos de la habilidad de quienes intervinieron en su construcción ... Lástima que representen, la más oscura de las fuerzas, que han sometido a la humanidad y que todavía, en estos tiempos de liberación, pretenden dominarnos. Desde esta perspectiva, es comprensible, que algunas personas, que sienten un genuino odio hacia el oscurantismo, que por siglos, impuso la religión, tomen acciones tan radicales, como la quema de iglesias. Las letras de Burzum, salen desde la misma sangre, sus letras transmiten, la rabia genuina que sienten los iluminados, que añoran esa humanidad que ya casi no existe. La humanidad que vivía conectado en armonía, con la tierra, que agradecía a los elementos naturales, que permiten la vida. Sol, agua, aire, mar... Todos esos elementos, a los cuales el hombre, rendía pleitesía y que en ese todo, veía la mano de un creador generoso, no un dios sádico, celoso, genocida, homófobo, esclavista y con las peores antivirtudes, que nos impuso a sangre y fuego la religión. Burzum, música de culto.
