Let me tell you about the babies because a Vanderbilt employee that handles "the babies" told me (same for all of these donate things)...THEY ALREADY HAVE THE MONEY! The store donated it and is trying to recoup, and the difference is written off! I do NOT donate anymore because of this.

Love you guys!! Just so y’all know a lot of disabled people that use mobility aids are able to walk, they just can’t do it for as long as people in the general population. This isn’t them faking their illness.

I was thinking this too. As far as I know airlines force people with mobility aids to be wheeled onto the plane with a separate wheelchair because they can't bring their own on the plane most of the time. Maybe people get embarrassed after a taste of that and decide they can make it on their own by the end of the flight. I also wouldn't put it past people to lie though so they can board first lol.

I dressed as a pregnant nun when I was in 8th grade. That should’ve been my parents’ first clue I was bound for beautiful, great things. Bravo on the costume ladies. Additionally, these forced philanthropy grifts at the checkout line are so next level Shame/bullying that instead of just saying no, I feel forced to LIE, and instead say, “I already rounded up last time.” That’s some dysfunctional BS

Another thing about the cash register donations: companies are having YOU pay for their tax deductions. Go home and make your own donation and get that tax receipt for yourself-corporations do not need your help paying for their taxes.

As a cashier of a place that does constant donations… WE ARE ALSO SICK OF IT! lmaoo we don’t really want to ask either (or at least i dont) but the managers keep track of the donation money for each cashier and will chew you out about not having enough.

That sucks!!! I worked at a food place that occasionally did donations, but we didn’t get chewed out -- it’s just the people with the most donations got rewarded. We all hated asking though & would skip it if the managers were out of earshot 😂

i used to clean the bathrooms at my grocery job and i can confirm, people are shitting every where and anywhere. and they do not always clean up after themselves. my favorite story is i once heard a girl go into a stall proceed to call her mom and say 'mom i pooped my pants again, what do i do??' and her phone volume was so loud i could hear her mother on the other end of the call as well. she was like 'oh honey, go throw your underwear out and clean yourself up.' all i could think was oh god no please don't throw them in the bathroom trash can or i'm going to have to empty it smelling like shit. i don't know what she ended up doing but she didn't throw her doodoo pants away in our restroom cuz i never found it.

Listen, in regards to the shitting, I worked at Kmart in high school (remember that shithole?) and we found shit in the rearmost men's fitting rooms MULTIPLE times through the years and even MORESO we would find clothing that had been peed on. This is nothing new, but I'm grateful for these frontline worker HEROES for speaking out about what they are finding. They are doing the Lord's work! Under His eye.

worked retail in Florida ... older man left a shit trail in the back aisle of the store that spanned half of the back of the store and the last aisle where the bathrooms were located. It was an alarmingly large shit trail. Amazing that the man who ditched his trousers in our bathroom survived. I was no stranger to picking up dog poop from inconsiderate customers, but that day was traumatizing .....

The shitting thing happens. I was stuck in traffic in the tunnel going from Portland to the west........for 2 hours. I began talking to a deity I didn't believe in to not let me shit my pants.
