They don’t suck, the replay rules do. With so many things happening on the court, they’re not gonna see everything from the best angle. Problem is that it was not a reviewable call, which is ridiculous. They need to find a balance tho, because the games are too long when they review all the calls down the stretch. But they should find a way to at least review the obvious ones, this one was clearly a goaltending

These sorts of things don't happen by chance. There's millions of dollars on the line in sports betting. They could of cooked the books and the refs were all in on it.

Referees: Brian Forte, Josh Tiven and JB DeRosa should use a little common sense to go outside the rules of replay when all three missed an obvious call. If they didn’t see the play, then they should stop the game themselves and work with the referee in NY doing the Replay. Admissions of error from the NBA League Office is way too common and the fact there are tools in place to prevent them already exist. It is human to make a mistake, but when you have the tools to remedy an error immediately then you use them...why wait till the next day to admit the error and not be able to correct it after the fact. The NFL and NBA should have the Official Review of the Final 2 minutes for every play - they can effectively light the Replay lamp to stop the game from NY for a missed call that impacts the game. A more liberal usage of Replay needs to be adopted - I personally stopped watching NBA games a few years ago because the officiating was a joke. 🤓🏀 Just watch Highlights or should I call them Lowlights in this case. 🤪 🤡😂

Aside from these circumstances, games are mostly locally televised and game highlights uploaded by independent YTers are often cut from these locally televised broadcasts with either home team or away team commentary. In regards to that, there is usually obvious and intentional bias with the commentary as they are working for and represent the team they are covering.
