NBA refs should be fined. There’s consequences for messing up consistently in regular jobs. And they can have mistakes to this degree without even a stern talking to. It’s disgusting

Refs should be held 100% accountable for their mistakes. I’m tired of them coming out w reports the next day simply admitting if they made a mistake or a missed call. Players get fined for the smallest reasons - refs should be held on the same standards as the players

Agreed. I didn't watch the game, but I read they had a blown time out call and a blown foul call in the Orlando game that possibly cost the Magic the game. To top it off, the Magic's coach was fined $25,000 for calling them out on it.

Definitely agree it's just because people have been doubling and tripling their money from Portland winning games as big underdogs I'm guessing someone sent a message whatever happens just don't let Portland win this game because they still covered the +10 spread but if they won the game outright people would have potentially Quadrupled their profits on this game... Portland was high as +400 pregame.. I got in at +370 so yeah alot of money would be leaving vegas if Utah loses this game and thats just pregame numbers

this ingram/gobert issue was nothing compared to this. ingram was actually ROLLING THE BALL off his body in a weird way just to try and draw contact with gobert. and he did draw contact but at what point is it no longer an attempted shot and just and attempt to draw contract and hope the refs think it is a shot. had gobert not even touched him, there was no chance the ball would even hit the rim. in this instance, I think the ball would have went in had it not been goaltended.

I love Damian Lillard. I am a Miami Heat fan, literally on opposite sides of the spectrum, yet the lack of respect Dame gets year after year is inexcusable at this point, and of course nothing will happen. Also, quick side note, one thing I can really appreciate about Coach Spoelstra is the fire he coaches with. The blazers just got robbed and as usual their coach has zero reaction. Why has he been their coach for so long? Emotionless, and always shows the inability to adjust to the opposition.

I thought the officiating was bad on both ends. the missed call on simons getting undercut was inexcusable. should be an automatic ejection and suspension of you undercut a player while they are in the air (regardless of whether it was accidental or not). but some of the calls lillard wanted on ingles weren't fouls. TWO that I can count. the last 3 pointer lillard made he went sideways and tried to kick ingles to draw contact. but that's OK. superstars usually get these kind of calls. the refs just need to be consistent throughout the season.

This is the SECOND time this season, with the Jazz, where the refs affected the outcome of the game bc of a non call, (game against the pelicans earlier in the season). If it happens again, a 3rd time, the NBA has to look into it and the refs involved. This has been an absolutely horrible season with the officiating (with every team, not just one specific team). One of, if not, the worst season w/ officiating in recent memory.

It’s the 2nd time for Portland. Last time when Gobert hits the elbow of Melo while taking 3 (no foul), now this goal tending on Lillard (no call).

The worst part is this happening to someone like Lillard. The man is there every night giving his 200% in order to win and the refs were not able to call an easy and one and a even easier goaltend. I remember (i'm a Warriors fan) a few days ago seeing the Warriors leave the game after an atrocious defeat with a smile on their faces. It's beyond me why would they do that. But this man, Lillard is there giving it all for the people that support his team and is 100% right to be mad about those calls. Mad respect for Dame.

Melo passed to a wide open guy in the corner. That was 100% the best play he could have made.
