Not bad for rudamentry fabrication tools. I like the idea of using masking tape to plan out the switch cut outs.

In my old mud truck I had a custom panel made. Dash looked stock until you pushed a panel and it sprung open like an ashtray to revel a switch panel. Had 7 switches in there. One thing I never did was put a lock on it so my daughter wouldn't jump in it and start flipping switches and start it. But she never did. Plus a lock would look obvious to prying eyes. I liked the stealth look lol. Excellent video my friend. Love how the Jeep keeps getting better and better

That's cool Matt I put my gauges in that spot and ran my switches on my A pillar using a piece of aluminum channel... Keep the videos coming brother we all enjoy them your doing great!

bleepinjeep I feel ya. I usually save all my hyperlinks in one place on my computer so I can just copy and paste them into the annotations. Saves a ton of time. I put up 3-4 videos a week usually.

I your using toggle switches and you don't want toggle covers.You can get the small U-bolts and put a U loop to the left and right of the switch.So they are protected and your finger will fall right between the loops to flip that one switch. Thats how planes were in ww2. So when the guys got back and built circle/drag cars thats what they did.Works good,looks cool.Im putting in some with pilot lights.And a couple of colored covers on two separate switches.Just to mix it up and not use labels.

I knew a guy once who just screwed 120 VAC house switches to his dash.....and that was in a car, lol. Of course he also replaced his hood ornament with a homemade crosshair also, it was quite the car. ;p My CJ switches are all over the place also. I should clean them up someday.

seems too far to me especially if you're moving at highway speeds. why not just run them all the way down the A pillar.
