I'm kinda overwhelmed by the palette..my idea of a collab is offering something new, that a brand hasn't done before and probably wouldn't without your input..this just looks like many other Blend Bunny palettes, but with a higher price point

Blend bunny’s response on Instagram was hilarious. She included some swatches comparing it to the blends palette (a lot of swatches were very similar lol) and basically said that she just loves color and it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea lol like aren’t you a business that wants to make money??? Why would you release something that your costumers already have just because you “love color” lol

@@AmyLovesMakeupI love big palettes, but this honestly looks like shades taken from previous palettes… I’ll still end up buying this at some point, but I don’t feel the need to jump on it… I have literally every other Blend Bunny palette, so I’m thinking about waiting for it to eventually go on sale 😂

I love that Ellis Atlantis got a collab! I do think that Blend Bunny is becoming a bit of a one-trick pony. I think I would have been more interested if this palette had come from a different brand- it doesn’t add anything different to the BB line up. I’m glad they came up with the blush trios. I wish they’d leaned harder into that. I love colour and I love rainbow palettes, but I also know how to mix different undertones in colours I already have, so larger and larger rainbow palettes with different undertones doesn’t appeal as much to me. I’m glad they’re collaborating and I’m sure others will be very happy with this new palette. BB has a great formula.

Do you have any advice on how to mix shades to get different undertones? I have the blends palette but I'm not sure how I would get different undertones with the existing shades.

I don’t really have set advice- it’s usually by trial and error. I usually dip my brush in colors back and forth, or if the eyeshadow is powdery I mix the powders on the side on a little metal tray. I’ve tried Blend Bunny and I find that their eyeshadows are so blendable that you can layer the colours on one at a time until you get the exact color you want. Don’t get me wrong- I wouldn’t mix a primary blue and yellow to get green. I think it’s a good tool to have a wide range of colours. But the mid tones are very easy to make without much effort.

I would LOVE to see a swatch comparison to blends and sickly sweet!!! I use those two in almost every eye look I do. Unless I'm doing a look with cosmic brushes in which case it's a standalone 😊 I'm really trying to determine if it makes sense to get this collab palette when I have blends and sickly sweet. Thank you for getting this up so quickly! ❤

I was so disappointed by this palette reveal! Blend Bunny were teasing this gothic fantasy, and here we have ANOTHER rainbow palette. I don't see rainbow palettes as a true colour story. I think it's lazy tbh...

I would have been really interested if there was a palette with just the shimmers, but I have so many Blend Bunny palettes already, and while I love them, I don't feel like I need all these mattes.

This would be a great palette for a working makeup artist. It’s overwhelming for me, a little too big for me to pull out and use on a daily basis, but really pretty! I hope the collar does well 🥰

They don't really look very similar at all to me, besides being large rainbow-type palletes. Bperfect has almost a third of the shades as dark, colorful shimmers, and no iridescent topper shades. Also 1/3 of it is warm brown neutrals, and there aren't any warm browns in the ellis palette. I'm not saying the ellis palette is innovative, and I probably won't get it because I have blends and sickly sweet, but I don't think it's very similar to carnival.

@@oceanbird. if you remove the browns and neutrals and shimmers from the carnival xlpro and add those multichromes from ellis' palette it's a carbon copy

@mandasworld267 I see it for 2 of the reds, all of the pinks, 2 purples, 2 greens, and all of the blues. There's definitely overlap in the colorful mattes, but I think once you exclude all the neutrals, all the colorful shimmers, all the browns, and all the topper shades in Ellis they are quite different palletes. How would you compare the matte formula between bperfect and blend bunny? Do you think they have a similar quality?

@oceanbird. I'm not sure about the quality tbh I've got bperfect but not blend bunny yet. From watching swatches it looks like a very similar buttery smooth formula but every review I've seen has basically said that blend bunny is an absolutely amazing formula

@@mandasworld267 makes sense! I do love blend bunny, it's somehow super pigmented but buildable and easy to use. I sometimes find that online reviews rave about something and I'm not super impressed by it (looking at odens eye...), but blend bunny is as good as they say in my opinion. I have two palletes, the blends and sickly sweet, and I pretty much use them to supplement every look I do since I got them. It's definitely my favorite formula! I doubt I'll be getting this release though because I have a lot of eyeshadow and I can already do pretty much everything I could want with those two palletes. If you enjoy eyeshadow I'd def give blend bunny a try, I'm glad I did. This Ellis pallete seems massive though...

Thank you Amy for all of your work and demonstration. I love rainbow palettes and BB formula. I think this palette is more like is like having two blends palettes divided with the iridescent like of shadows. It also reminded me of carnaval interstellar too.

I get that this is what the collaborator wanted but blendbunny didnt need another rainbow palette imo. This is great for those who havent tried the brand but I can think of only a few who have primal and blends AND would like to buy this one as well

I just ordered this. I’ve never purchased from blend bunny before so I’m excited for this. I have rainbow shades and highlighter/topper shades in this, which is perfect for me. I don’t already own a rainbow palette, and I think this is perfect for new customers of blend bunny rather than people who already have everything.

As much as i would love to get this palette, i literally just got the blends palette like a month ago and feel like you dont really need both. Yea i know this one has some more shades plus some of those shifty topper shades but for me personally i just dont know if i can justify both right now. I do like the blush palettes so i may look into those.

I was happy to hear the words BB and collab ! How seriously disappointing to see this huge rainbow palette. This is a 3rd Rainbow for BB , i own all her palettes so what do you do with a 3rd rainbow I ask you.. I'm sorry but there is nothing that will convince that there is anything super special about this palette, not ever ever ! I can only hope that this will not be a pattern with BB like the way Pat Mcgrath has done with pink everything . A rainbow is a rainbow is a rainbow no matter how you stack it . Only positive out of this , I'm saving my $$$ .

I bought both of the Blend Bunny blush palettes last year, Juicy Cheeks and Bare Cheeks. I was thrilled to get a selection of colors that I might not otherwise try, but unfortunately both of the palettes are terribly patchy on me no matter what cheek brush I use. I even bought a new brush to see if that would help and sadly it didn't. My Blend Bunny blushes don't blend. Hopefully these two new cheek palettes are an improvement. I recommend to any one considering trying them to start with only one of the palettes to test the formula. Your eye look is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I really like that orange blush trio and the sparkly pink blush! Ive actually been wanting something like that since i have so many peachy sparkly blushes but no pink ones. I kinda think the palette is a missed opportunity. Its so similar to what shes already released and way too big and expensive imo.

Another rainbow palette? 😭 not that i’m in the position to say anything bc i’ve bought every rainbow palette she’s released by far anyway 😂 In terms of comparisons, what are some more of your thoughts for those of us that own blends, primal, and surge? I’ve got the Lure which has those teals and blues too! I know they said that Ellis curated it to create unique undertones that dont already exist in the line but idk. It seems redundant for those of us that have been on the Blend Bunny train for a long time but since primal and surge are now discontinued, i could see this being an amazing alternative for the newcomers that missed out on those! (If the huge size isn’t a bother to them). I’m not sure this release is for me but huge congrats to Maggie and Ellis!

I think all the colors are stunning but I absolutely hate giant palettes lol, just too overwhelming and takes up so much space. My favorite blend bunny palette is all done up, I've been hoping for more small palettes like that from her. I might get a blush palette though!

I don’t have Blends or Surge so this really appeals to me. It looks like a great matte palette that would pair with a lot of my special singles. I don't think I'll get this one because I have blends and it's just so big, I really don't need it. I do have to admit though that I would love to have all those undertones. This palette inspires me! I know it’s like blends on crack it’s got every color a rainbow pal needs. I was shocked by the peach blush it looks amazing this is the punk in me being coaxed out! My mom bought me royal blue liquid eyeliner & electric blue mascara to go with the blue shades! Pretty awesome!! (My mom hates makeup & knows nothing about it but I showed her my pal & she surprised me with it from the store!! My mom is awesome. I’ve never really done a lewk w blue liquid liner and blue mascara! ) my mom lets me buy one big thing each month & I picked blend bunny for April && YOU adept x Amy loves makeup for May!!!!!!! I’m so on the fence about the eye palette. I love the idea of it and I think the way it’s laid out looks really intuitive, but it’s so big. Like not even the amount of shades, she’s just a thicc queen. I’m not sure I could even find space for it on my desk 😭

I just replaced my one pastel palette (Nomad Tokyo) with Blend Bunny sticky grunge and so far am very happy with it although for storage purposes I do wish it was slightly smaller. But I have zero interest in whatever this is- way too big.

I know this is a whacky question, but what are the dimensions of the palette in inches? I might buy it one day, because I love the look of it more than their other rainbows, but if it physically won't fit in my makeup bag, it might not be worth it 😂. Swatches and look were awesome 🥰

I have to say I'm a a little intimidated by the palette. I love to play with color and just dot around and experiment, but I feel I don't have the skills to appreciate the nuances in undertone they are talking about on Instagram. Plus I really have no want or need for such a coffee table-sized palette. I'd set it down somewhere and then drop it. I'd like to travel with a palette I love, and it's just too big. Also...I'm surprised that some of the shades swatch so weak? I think it's a pretty palette, but it's not for me.
