Reminds me of the artist Alex Colville's paintings, a lot of his stuff was made in the 50s but resembled early computer graphics.

I love how you combined so many different techniques and made something I’ve never seen in blender. I like to think following a tutorial teaches technique but it’s up to the artist or creator to challenge themselves to make something of there own based on the technique they learned form a tutorial. I love your work and it inspired me to try new things.

I would love to see the series tackle the artstyles of eg. Hiroshi Nagai or Eizin Suzuki! I've been trying to emulate their artsyle with blender, but with my limited time and abilities have been falling a bit short. Great work with Hockney!

Two of my favourites! I've been playing around with a few Nagai style scenes so will definitely do one on him at some point in the series :D

This is a great series! 💚 I'd like to suggest an artist I adore named Alex Grey, he's got many styles, but among the most prominent are his paintings which show the light/energetic subtle bodies and skinless views into the inner layers of the body, its stunning, most of his paintings are massive oil on canvas & deeply detailed, he captures light and structures wonderfully and imaginatively imparts meaning & flair into his work.

Amazing video. I love the mixture of 3D and painted effects. I would love to see a chapter based on Alberto Mielgo's The Witness (Love, Death and Robots). A very original and balanced example of work making you doubt if its's all 3D or all painted... or is it combined? I think this would really fit your series IMO.

Van Gough and his smoking skeleton should work really well. It's been animated before but not to this standard. Or you could even try and make his skeleton into it's very own scene? I've never actually used blender but your videos were the ones that at least got me to download it :D But it's still pretty intimidating.

Hey, great video ! There's just a little thing bothering me and I felt like I had to put it out there : throughout the video, you are refering to the character standing on the right of the picture as "the artist". As a matter of fact, this is not the "artist" of the Portrait of the Artist, because the artist is the figure swimming beneath the waters. This swimming figure is a stand-in for Hockney himself, and the figure on the right is his then lover, whose name I have forgotten. At the time Hockney painted this picture, their relationship was coming to a bitter end, his lover resenting him for being to immersed in his artistic endeavours, and therefore detached, unreachable, like the swimming figure here. The surface of the water could actually be interpreted as a representation of painting itself.
