This piece started out as an experiment, I wanted to see if I could do multiple straight pours with a fairly solid background.

I used an Unprimed Cradleboard from Blick
Pouring Medium was 50/50 Liquitex Pouring Medium and Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish, water to consistency, Floetrol
A couple of days after this pour it was dry enough to stand up, one night I was in my studio and kept seeing something blinking out of the corner of my eye. I finally turned and looked and saw the 24 K Gold picking up the light and sparkling and shimmering beautifully.. then I looked down the canvas and saw a Golden Lady or Angel that looked like she was blessing little children lined up. It really took my breath away, where did that come from? Then I saw these beautiful Angel wings behind her.. It was a really beautiful moment for me. Celebrating the Divine Feminine spirit, the nurturing and love of a Mother... This piece is very special to me, I couldnt wait to share it in the pouring groups on Facebook, and was so happy that people there saw what I saw and felt that same emotion. How amazing that people all over the world can be affected by art.. what a beautiful world we live in!
