Absolutely true story: When this aired for the first time, I stood still as a statue in front of the TV holding my boom box, and recorded the whole concert onto a cassette tape. That's how we did it back then.

@@Levi_Amongst_the_Watchers Hey! We should hang out, apparently! I totally understand. I'm 36, and have crippling anxiety and depression, Fibromyalgia, and over the last year have developed this awesomeness called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome 🤢🤮. I feel worse now than I ever have in my life, and would be lying if I said I wasn't more than a bit worried about the future. If I could go back a few years, I'd be a lot nicer to myself. I don't know that doin that would change anything, but at least I wouldn't wonder, I guess. I'm sorry we're in very similar boats, dude. This shit sucks. I would say "get better soon," but bein chronically ill/in constant pain, that saying honestly (and sadly) becomes a bit offensive after hearin it a million times. So, feel as well as you possibly can, and take care of yourself! *Gentle Hugs* 💜🌠💜

@@Levi_Amongst_the_Watchers Thanks for the well wishes! I'm not at all sayin they're not appreciated, it's just that when you've been chronically ill for sooooo long, phrases like "get well soon/recover quickly/etc." kinda hit a nerve, because ya know it ain't gonna happen, I guess. Nothing wrong with wishin the best, or at least better for someone! Thanks again! I hope your situation can improve as well, or at least not get any worse. I know we're gettin old, but I still feel like we're gonna be around a lil longer than we maybe expected, so I guess we gotta try and adapt to this shit somehow. I've found that cynicism, disassociation and self-deprecating humor are coping mechanisms for me. I dunno that it's exactly healthy, though. 🙃 I sincerely wish you the best as well! 💖🌠💖

Hey, hey, yeah, uh Sheets of empty canvas, untouched sheets of clay Were laid spread out before me as her body once did All five horizons revolved around her soul as the earth to the sun Now the air I tasted and breathed has taken a turn, ooh And all I taught her was everything Ooh, I know she gave me all that she wore And now my bitter hands chafe beneath the clouds Of what was everything Oh, the pictures have all been washed in black Tattooed everything I take a walk outside, I'm surrounded by some kids at play I can feel their laughter, so why do I sear Oh and twisted thoughts that spin 'round my head I'm spinning, oh I'm spinning, how quick the sun can drop away And now my bitter hands cradle broken glass Of what was everything All the pictures have all been washed in black Tattooed everything All the love gone bad turned my world to black Tattooed all I see, all that I am, all I'll be yeah Oh oh ooh I know someday you'll have a beautiful life I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky, but why Why, why can't it be, oh can't it be mine? Ooh, ah yeah, ah ooh Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, ooh ooh ooh

Great song and one of the most memorable live performances I've seen. I've watched it countless times and I'm still impressed by Eddie Vedder's vocal range and control! He puts tons of emotion into his performances! Good stuff!!

I went to high school with Eddie Vedder (then Eddie Mueller). He was voted Most Talented. My sister was in theater with him and used to take mushrooms with him and play music. He was really quiet and sweet and everyone liked him because he was a surfer in the theater department. In a SoCal school NO ONE did both.

Watch the "even flow" video. Also, Eddie Vedder performed with Roger of Pink Floyd at the 12-12-12 concert, "comfortably numb" it was so good.

Go listen to the song Jeremy from this same live set by pearl jam. Its personally my favorite song they did on that set. It's about a kid his name was Jeremy, he went into school one day and shot himself in front of the whole class and killed himself. He was the quiet kid, and one of the lyrics he says "Jeremy spoke in class today" I dont want to spoil anything else. But I would love to watch you react to it. Love your channel so far btw bro, keep it rockin.

I liked pearl jam, but in a casual way. I didn't fully appreciate Eddie Vedder's voice until I heard him cover The Who's "Love Reign O'er Me." He nailed it and even enunciated the words. (As compared to the mumbling way he performs his own songs)

Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam are a very special band. Cool fact, they never have the same set list for live shows. They have a cult following that travel(ed) all over the world following their shows, which are by the way amazing. Very awesome band, and they are still together and strong. Too many songs to recommend but one of my all time favorites is Evolution.

This song should come with a warning. I remember when it first came out. If it catches you in the wrong kind of mood, it can get under your skin and FUCK.YOU.UP.
