My blind reaction and mini review for the first two episodes of MLP season 5. I'm glad I could use these fan favorites to springboard my opinions. Oh, and I guess M.A. Larson showed up.

46:00 The joke was that he will "flip the table" if Octavia does not appear in the episode they ask him to "react". When the 100th episode happened, the personal headcannon he had for Octavia was destroyed forever. So it did the table.

Okay, well with the cutie marks I must clarify in my terms The cutie mark represents who the pony is without them they refer back to their past selves, like before pinkie pie had her cutie mark she had straight hair and worked on the rock farm basically with her sisters personality, but when she learned party's were her specialty her cutie mark appeared. This states NO THE CUTIE MARKS DON'T DETERMINE THE PERSONALITY JUST WHAT THEY'RE AMAZINGLY GOOD AT.

not to mention the equal sign cutie mark makes them all the same so rainbow dash isn't speedy or fast because that would make her unique or different so she's pretty much the same speed as every pony else. And Applejack makes her quote-unquote countryisms because that's yet another thing that makes her unique because it's the way that she talks, so of course the equal sign would dictate that. and pinkie pie is cheerful and hyper and upbeat pretty much all the time but that would make her different from everybody else so that's why the equal sign dictates that part of her personality. having the equal sign doesn't just Rob them of their special talents or their purpose in life but it also robs them of their personality traits that would make them unique or make them stand out because the whole point of equality is that you're just the same as everybody else around you so if you had even one thing that made you different or Superior to that pony then of course the equal sign is going to take that away from you

I don't mind when he acts all goofy, I really like it actually, but he did seem way too hyper with this one, I heard that it was because the whole scene with Starlight trying to brainwash the mane six really freaked him out, and then I think I heard that he didn't get much sleep the night before or something like that. (That's what I heard anyway, don't know how true it is). But yeah, he was very hyper in this, and not necessarily in a good way. (No offence to BlackGryph0n or anything). Because I do like him.

He was part of the people singing "Our Town" so I would give him less hassle cause he moved from fanwork to canon work. i can't imagine how that feels

A Cutie Mark doesn't represent the whole life, it shows the special talent what differs someone from everybody else and everybody has kind of a talent, for music, for sports or else. It's your choice how you use the talent. For example: it's Rarity's talent to find gems with her gem-finding spell, but she used it to design her clothes, she also could have become a jeweler or something. And it's not wrong to show your talent, it's better then let it crumble

Well, with Orchestral Design there's two types of table flip. There's the angry flip (pretty much every reaction he's in) and the happy flip (episode 100, and only episode 100). If anything, the happy flip ruined the mythos around his strange, strange psyche...buuuuut it was so entertaining I suppose you could say it's just his character starting to evolve.

Here’s my theory, sense starlight created the spell she probably put that equal sign cutie mark on them on purpose so they can’t do better then anyone, which means everyone is bad at everything. If they only lost their cutie mark and it wasn’t replaced they could still do the things they do and anything else they may want to do. Having a cutie mark doesn’t mean you’re tied to that one thing it just means it’s your talent that you love to do, you can still do other things.

Well, I am pretty sure, that the Cutie Mark isn't essencial for a personality, but it surely plays a part to form it. We know, that Pinkie Pie already wanted to make her family smile before she even got her Cutie Mark and a gloomy character would fit her special talent at all.
