Could this be the last cmc episode without their cutie marks? As they have all had an episode that focus on just one of them. So could the next cmc episode have them all get their cutie marks? . Something to think about... :)

I can't tell if thisis my favorite episode. some pretty good things happened here. 3 of my favorite ponies are in there, Derpy, Lyra and Luna. It may be a dream but Vinyl and Octavia are both in the episode, more talking of Big Mac, flying Scootaloo. I just can't tell.

Good reaction. I had pretty much the same thoughts when I watched, like the dream sequence going on too long and the conflict being laid out all at the start. I also would have liked to meet Babs with her mark, rather than having it told to us in a letter. That talent kind of came out of left field as well - for a pony supposedly talented at manecuts, she sure had trouble keeping hers out of her eyes! All that said, this was still a good episode, as the final act did much to tie it all together. The spooky figure being AB's own shadow seems obvious in retrospect - I thought it was Starlight Glimmer at first! It's also an episode that improves on a second viewing, once you know what's going on and what to look out for.

The cmc episodes are some of my favorite episodes because of how adorable some of them are.

Luna is an awesome princess I mean she can go into someones ( someponys) dream and talk to them. And also combined other ponys dreams into your so you can talk to other ponys in your dream (if that made since) I say Luna is one of the best and useful princesses they have in MLP FIM ( if none of this made since, it was hard to explain some stuff so um yeah ) Celestia is the ''queen'' or as Hasbro calls it ''princess'' of MLP FIM. She takes care of the day while her sister takes care of the night. These sister princesses are just the best characters to MLP FIM ( to my opinion ) Twilight is the princess of friendship. She is also the Princesses of magic or whatever. She is an amazing friend (like that dream friend people always wanted). She helps you in tough times and will give all her magic away for her friends if she needed too. Twilight is one of the only ponys who doesn't use her full name ( princesses Twilight Sparkle ) because she wants to be equal with her friends. Princess Cadence is the princess of the Crystal Empire and is also Twilight's Borthers wife. She is the princess of love and will do anything for Shining Armor and her Kingdom. Cadence hasn't been in the show since season 4 but she still plays a huge part in the My little Pony series. Without her, the Crustal Empire would be gone Queen chrysalis was one of the main villains and one of the smartest, too. She had minions who could shape-shift and she could herself. Princess Cadence of course defeated her with love. King Sombra is the only king in MLP FIM right now and may I say he was very very clever hiding the crystal heart. Hiddion staircase that has to be upside-down in order to get to the heart. and if you do get to it, theres still a trap waiting for you. He evil took away the Crystal Ponys memories so no pony could reveal his secrets with the 2 princesses THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VIDEO

I was thinking the CMC get their cutie marks together in the last episode. Maybe Starlight makes a return, but her magic doesn't work on people without cutie marks, hence the CMC saving the day. And in the process, they use their talents, and discover themselves there.

I love this episode so much. For one it's a CMC episode and a luna dream episode. I love that we get a lullaby sung by Applejack. Each of the nightmares Applebloom is one of her fears. I wonder if the Twittermites are real or Applebloom dreamt them up. I knew it was a dream but almost thought it wasn't when the first dream went on so long. Even though I haven't seen it this episode reminded me of Groundhog Day. It also reminds me of the fan game Story of the Blanks. I think Luna's job before becoming Nightmare Moon was to help ponies with their nightmares and is just starting to help more than one pony at a time. Also the CMC's dreams show that they subconsciously know what their talents are but are just afraid to fail. Also Babs is good at cutting because she is a city pony. And what was with the weird dolphin cutie mark? And what episode is the longest Big Mac's voice actor has spoken Applebuck Season, Ponyville Confidential, Filli Vanilli or this one And Vinyl and Octavia FTW I ship them so much8DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. Last thing I think this was a great lesson.

I was going over the episode again and was it me or did scootaloo and sweetie bell dreams started off as what they are good at, they were going to do what would give them their cutie marks-or what is believed to be their special talents- but changed? i think all three might know what their talent is but subconsciously hide it because if they get their cutie marks the CMC might separate like in the dream.

That certainly was entertaining. Ugh, even in a dream Diamond Tiara manages to up her unlikable appeal Saw it in a stream an every one was saying Pears when it wasn't the apple related cutie mark. Also, those bus were cool.

All the new writers from this season and last are going all out....damn Josh Haber. Also, Denny's Pancakes is getting more screen time than Sombra ever did. I also thought that Starlight Glimmer somehow managed to get Luna's dream power when I first saw this episode.... that voice said some things I only pictured her saying. I was hoping that we see Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon having Cutie Mark related nightmares too... missed opportunity there.

My opinions of this episode pretty much mirror DrWolf's, in which, I respect the episode more than I enjoy it. The way it tells its moral is really cleverly executed, and while some of the dialogue felt a little "off", I think it's okay here, since the majority of the episode is inside the mind of a child. The humor was hit or miss for me, but some people may find it more funny than I did. I did think the cameos from Vinyl Scratch and Octavia were cool, but I think the biggest highlight for me was getting to hear what Babs was up to. I was waiting so long to see more of her, because anyone who causes humiliation to Diamond Tiara is automatically awesome to me, and this acknowledgement from the staff that she still exists makes me happy. (Here's hoping she makes an appearance in a later episode of Season 5.)

This was a nice commentary, but if you could maybe lower your voice volume just a little or make the episode volume higher, your voice was a bit overwhelming. Still a great job :) P.S. Applebloom said universe... science is canon!

It was a great episode and another wonderful reaction RarityDash I like how the breakfasts get more elaborate each time Apple Bloom wakes up. First plain pancakes, then pancakes with fruit and cream and then a several tier cake lol Did you see Pinkie the fourth time Apple Bloom "wakes up"? I like that Rarity at least gave Sweetie Belle 1 point. I also liked how Luna's voice became normal!Luna instead of Mystic!Luna once they were inside the dream CMC club house And I did like that Dashie balloon. I wonder if Pinkie made it, furthering her balloon modelling skills after meeting Party Favor? It's nice that all three of the CMC have met dream Luna now. Vinyl and Octavia is a bit of blatant fan service, but it can be explained away with Sweetie Belle imagining two musical ponies she knows, plus her big sister Rarity. (Actually it would have made more sense for Sapphire Shores to have been there instead of Octavia, since Vinyl appears to be a Ponyville pony and Octavia a resident of Canterlot so it's more likely SB would know about Vinyl more than Octavia.) Unless of course there is a contest where Vinyl and Octavia are on the panel and SB didn't know the third pony so she automatically inserted Rarity. As for the length of the dream sequence, I've had dreams that have seemed to last days. Like the dreams where you wake up and you're late for work and everything just goes wrong and then you wake up and it's still dark and one in the morning but you have to check the date just to be sure what day it is...

Did anybody else notice the animation quality of this episode were kinda messy
