I appreciate that the guy with the glasses is actually real about his experience. So many people say "Being deaf isn't a disability" or "being blind isn't a disability!" and try to normalize it--he said it very well "it's challenging, an inconvenience. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone."

The reason he speaks the truth is because he said he used to be able to see. and that's important because you can't give a fair judgement on something If you've only experienced one side. He's had experience with seeing and not seeing.

Actually most people that are classified as blind still have some vision left, it just is very little. Still it often is enough to be able to watch movies in specific setups, especially when they have audio description. (like my grandma, she had to look past the screen to be able to see what was happening because she only had peripheral vision left.)

Helen Keller is a lie. No one really knows her exact story and there is no way she learned to read. She was 19 Months old when she went blind and 1 Year olds don't know the alphabet. She could only smell, taste and touch there is no possible way to learn the alphabet when you can't hear or see it is impossible. When she never understood letters how could she ever know what things are by touching them? That's right she didn't ever learn to write or read. She was used as propaganda so people thought better of disabled people.
