This was an artist you guys recommended a lot so I HAD to do it! :) Also... I thought I have heard of him before but I was SO wrong... So this was a total BLIND reaction! :) Enjoy watching me freak tf out lol.

This was supposed to be posted yesterday (Monday) but sadly as you saw in the middle I had a slight tech issue (please forgive me it won't happen again) and this month has been CRAZY busy regarding family events for me! "Seven Sins" should be the next one. Has a lot of great elements in it (Including Welsh!), and it's the opening song on Ren's album that debuted at #1 on the UK charts, beating out Rick Astley!

But the tale of Jenny and screech you really get to see his story telling on a whole other level. But make sure it's the full 13 minute verson. Not the individual stories videos

Ren was very physically sick for almost 10 yrs, at points being bedbound for a few yrs. He got sick in his late teens and experienced medical gaslighting, doctors told him it was all in his head, he was making himself sick, he just needed to think positively, do yoga or meditate etc, but they didn't give him the right tests and he actually had undiagnosed Lyme Disease for many years. It's treatable if diagnosed quickly, but if not it goes on to wreak havoc in your system and can cause permanent damage. He was given a lot of inappropriate meds and the side effects made him physically worse & also gave him psychological side effects, thus the psychosis he mentions. But it all stemmed from a very real illness that was being ignored. He finally got corectly diagnosed, got stem cell treatment that made a huge difference, then he spent a yr and a half in Canada getting more treatments. He's just now moving away from Canada but says he's not completely cured & may have some issues long term. Anyway, he's doing a lot better and there's more to his story, but that's an intro for you. Keep going with Ren!

Ren is also agnostic I am anti-theist but it does not mean I don't relate to this it just means I am not convinced. That being said Ren changed my outlook on life dealing with mental health issues he is a phenomenal genius.

Yeah i don't believe in the divine either. But regardless of that, there is no denying that what he illustrate in this masterpiece is the undeniable human condition and it's underlying duality which is perfectly relatable to all walks of life. The thing i believe most religious people get wrong about heaven and hell and good and evil, is that they are not meant to be taken as physical realities. They are just a symbolic representation of the human minds duality and that is what Ren just described in this piece. We all have it, some tilt more towards a darker nature and some more towards the brighter. But we all carry both aspects so it's a war we can never win or get out from, ergo, an eternal war like the depicted Angels vs Demons of religious texts. The concept can also be applied to physics in the sense of positive and negative energy. It all depends on how willing we are to understand things from a wider perspective.

God says "I'm sending you to hell, to suffer eternal anguish and torture for the unspeakable things you have done.l in your life." Person says "So as I'm talking to you, you must exist. If you actually exist, then Christianity (insert other subjective religion) must be correct. If (Subjective Religion) is true - then YOU have planned out my entire life for me. If that is the case then I had no free will in any of this, therefore, you are punishing me for actions you yourself are responsible for. " Would you want to entrust your life to a petty, vindictive and sociopathic deity like that? I wouldn't want to believe in such supreme callousness like that.

But just as we humans accidentally trample insects without even knowing they're there doesn't make us evil since we don't do it with intent, so i would imagine a God would exist on scale of the universe. But since the claim is that God is omniscient, that could not be true could it? Which would make him evil by the fact that he would know what happen to us by being omniscient.^^

That was a good reaction, thank you. Ren is a diverse and genre bending artist with a music catalog spanning more than a decade. If you decide to dive down the Ren rabbit hole you will discover one of the most talented artists of our generation. Ren is not Christian. He is agnostic but loves to use religious imagery in his music. You will see this in many of his songs. You might want to check out Sick Boi which was released immediately after Hi Ren. To answer your question as to the most underrated artist? That would be hands down, Ren.

"I spent half my life ill'. That line usually gets new reacters. What is wild is when you realize it is true. Ren is a treasure and he belongs to all of us. Ren uses a lot of spiritual and religeous imagery in his lyrics but he is agnostic; he states this in his story of 'Eden'. For instance, his rap song 'Seven Sins' is about his pain due to illness, but it references religeous themes and speaks to the seven sins. it is freaking amazing. Fun Ren would be 'Losing It' and 'Illest of Our Time'. Pulling your heartstrings Ren is 'Suicide', 'Freckled Angels', 'Dominoes' and 'For Joe'. Creative Ren is 'Back on 74, Message in a Bottle Retake'. Busker Ren is 'War Pigs' cover or 'I Shot the Sherriff'. Ren collaborating is with Chinchilla 'Chalk Outlines' and Sam Tompkins 'Blind Eyed'. Ren the bard is 'Tale of Jenny and Screech (Full)'. That 3 part story will blow you away. Finally, Ren's additional masterpiece is the series 'Money Game 1, 2 and 3'. The ending is just pure art.

I saw a few comments saying you stopped too much. I am going to be real with you if you dial it back you are going to get comments saying you aren't stopping enough, lol. Just find a spot that you feel comfortable with and enjoy because this is your reaction channel. We are literally here for your reactions. Oh! But you have to go into knowing its more Poem and came after he ran a contest for his Album Seven Sins where people had to solve riddles and puzzles and were encouraged to work together on social media platforms to win money. Did you count the f bombs He definately swears He has a heart of gold but has been known to address us fans in Ren's Rabbit Hole With good morning C#*** its cause he loves us 😂 and has a great sense of humour Last year in October as an independent artist with a team of his friends and his large very loyal fan base Ren got a #1Album in the UK called Sick Boi in October He didn't tour because he has been in treatment for Lyme disease started by a tick bite related illness and damage for 18 months on iv's every day. The radio wouldn't play his tracks except 2 because of swearing Its probably the first time an independent artist has done this. Looking forward to seeing you react to more!

The over overt positivity is just a mask to appear strong to our peers. A mask we all wear to protect our ego. But behind that mask lie the pain and suffering we all carry in the back of our mind to a varying degree. Because like Ren so perfectly illustrated in this piece, the human condition is eternal and is a battle we can never win. All we can do is embrace both the good and bad that life has in store for us and try to dance along to it's tune as best as we can. And when we fall we get up again and continue to dance.

Ren is talented lyrically and musically, while also being the perfect storyteller and modern age bard! Go down the Ren rabbit hole and you will be 1) AMAZED at his diversity in musical composition and song style, 2) SATISFIED at what you learn about yourself as he delves into the humanity aspect everyone can relate to in his songs, and 3) BLESSED as you spend your time enjoying everything that he has to offer. His genius knows no bounds...at all. Crazy thing is "Hi Ren" was one in ONE TAKE! Multiple cameras but after a few dry runs, this was the best take so he went with it. You'll notice he's mic'ed up so it's live. He tries to do live one takes as much as possible whenever possible. Perfectionist! ALSO, his story is a sad but strong one as he truly was ill for the better half of his life after being misdiagnosed long ago and medications having very powerfully negatives affects on his body and mind. Read up on it and you'll have an even bigger appreciation for the man. Great thoughts on the review. Just one suggestion, which may have been made already by others, please rewind a bit once you return from a pause and try to hold off on pausing until there's a lull in his storytelling. Certain times you'd pause it here and my heart sank because I knew there wasn't a chance you'd get right back into feeling the way you had right before pausing it. Ren's music is all about feelings and self-awareness. Pay close attention to what he's saying so you don't miss his poignant deliveries. Still though, love the raw reaction!! Keep smiling because you have to know yours is contagious! 😁

Everything by Ren is hip hop that makes you think. Either it is utter seriousness or outragious playfulness, Ren does it all. Have fun in your Ren journey it is well worth the time.

17:46 I know many have already stated that he is agnostic-not Christian-already, but if you listen to his wording at the end @ 18:22 where he said, “It is this eternal dance that separates human beings from angels, from demons, from GODS.” He uses the word “gods” instead of “God” demonstrating his true belief.

Most underrated artist for me right now would be Ez mil.. like ren he’s multi talented. He sings, raps, produces, but he also dances.. he recently got signed to Eminem.. so I’m hoping he gets more exposure soon.

So if you're not familiar with Harry Mack, that's a great rabbit hole. Dude is the 🐐 when it comes to freestyle rap. Other people can recommend specific videos, but I am a fan of going through his Omegle Bars in chronological order. Enjoy, and I'll be here for the ride.

So glad you loved Ren. I said you would...!😉 Now you're on the Ren train you won't want to get off. As you're big on creativity you'll have to check out "The Tale of Jenny & Screech". No spoilers but there are 2 things you have to do, 1) it's in 3 parts so do the version which shows them all back to back in one go for maximum effect (13 mins approx) and 2) don't print off the words (I saw you mention that in a comment below) as you don't want any spoilers and the reactions are better when they contain surprises. As for your question on most underrated artist, I think I have to say 'Chinchilla' who has done a few collaborations with Ren. Her collabs with Ren are very powerful and her solo stuff really shows off her vocals, performance and writing ability.

After Hi Ren - Money Game 1, 2, & 3, The Tale of Jenny and Screech (please do the trio (including violet's tale) in one go. @@ChaoticallyCreativeGinger I think we have all done that before lol if I remember correctly he’s had Lyme disease since was like 17 yrs old, he was bitten by a tick. Ren has come along way, he has 2 or 3ish songs about his friend joe. One is called freckled angels and the other is called for joe, it’s the piano portion at the end of his song suicide.

Most underrated artist, hard to mention just one, but Ren most definitely is among the most underrated. Another would be Harry Mack and yet another would be Wynne. All 3 of those are in the rap/hip-hop genre. Within music in general, I'd also add Paolo Nutini and Teddy Swims.

You can take anything from his catalogue (I am sure others will give you some suggestions). All of his tracks are different and will amaze, delight and surprise you every time. Ren is a "genre-bender" with everything from rock to rap with reggae and story telling of the highest quality along the way. He also collaborates with other incredible artists you have probably never heard of too (e.g. Chinchilla and Sam Tompkins), which then opens up some other wonderful music. You will undoubtedly enjoy your ride down this wonderous rabbit hole and I subbed to watch your journey. P.S. His supporters - the "Renegades" - are an an amazing, supportive community too.

You need to watch "The Tale of Jenny & Screech". It's Ren's masterpiece. Storytelling at its best (and with a jaw dropping twist). Though, if You prefer more hip-hop vibes, check out "Hunger". Yep, Eminem's the GOAT, but Ren is close secund :) Most underated artist? Easy: Halsey.
