Freddie was one tough soldier remember seeing a Documentry on how he got injured in Iraq,got alot of respect for this guy even after losing his sight he refuses to let his disability hold him back, Goodluck on your Kilimanjaro charity climb bud

I got a similar thing like this when I lost my tongue. I just connect these things to my eyeballs and I can taste with them.

I just noticed that the ratings show about 7% of people have rated this video thumbs down. That is rather funny. Did this video about a blind man regaining sight through technology offend these people? About the video itself, that is awesome. IThere is going to a major increase in this kind of innovative technology. I hope I live to see what the world will be like in a few decades.

@GogghyTV its a camera that sees a lox res image of the world and a computer translates it to electrodes that are in the order of the pixels on the tongue so he feels the image on his tongue

That dog's not poor? He's a fine dog. I have a service dog, and he is a very happy dog. Service dogs go through training, and help the handicap. This does not hurt the dogs physical or emotion being at all.

@pntrain5 As I recall, a short explanation was given. They explained the basic mechanism by which it functioned. It was just a news report. I don't think they were trying to make a documentary or do investigative journalism.

lol they already have devices they implant into your brain (in the part of your brain that makes you see) and they can let blind people see about 4 to 16 pixels and they are working on more... but yea you would have to get a brain implant.. i'd go for the tounge thingy.
