to add more to your "the man" discussion: back in the red era, she went on a radio show and was groped by the DJ. She called it ourt and he got fired from that job. He then took HER to court to sue her over his job loss and for like $1 million. He lost and she countersued for $1 to prove a point. Overall she is such a badass.

Also, she didn't even call it out. She reported to his boss privately, they did an investigation and fired him based on that. Which makes it even more stupid that he sued her and not his old company over wrongful termination.

A former dancer of Taylor's (from wayyy back when) who is gay said in a post recently (in the past few years) that he was very nervous to introduce his boyfriend to Taylor bc he knew she was a good person but they never had a conversation about his sexuality. But when he introduced his boyfriend to Taylor, the first thing she said was: "Of course you have an attractive boyfriend" I love that so much 😂

Eric lore in general got richer, I’ve never heard about his past experiences with challenging his beliefs before. I have mad respect for anyone who can look at the way things are, see how they misalign with their personal beliefs, and then choose to adjust their beliefs, rather than entrench in them. That’s hard to do.

Really enjoyed Eric talking about his move away from the religious right and unlearning systems of thought that prevented people living their authentic queer selves. It was genuinely very moving to me. As a gay woman who is has been watching their channel for years their commitment to allyship, learning and inclusion has been very much noted. Particularly in the religious/cultural context they have discussed growing up in! All the love :)

On the director subject, she has directed all but 1 of her music videos since this. Blake Lively is one of her long time besties and directed the video for "I Bet You Think About Me" when Red was rereleased. There have also been a couple of collabs she's done where she didn't direct the video, but those were on the other artist's album so it doesn't count.

Man, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Eric with music reactions is AMAZING. This needs to be something they look into making a more regular type of thing. Even if it’s once a month, just take some music, the lyrics, and someone who knows the music already with him and just go to town with analysis. This is an awesome video.

"Does anyone take their Christmas lights down in December?" oh very much. When I was growing up there was one house in our neighborhood that didn't take them down until mid-january most years, and my mom judged them SO hard every year. Everyone else had them down by NYE at the latest.

It really hurt my soul that she cut The Archer. The Archer is one of my favorites 😭 but we had to stick with the set list and not overwhelm the guys with too many songs. But man, The Archer was such a loss 😭

Hey Calvin, old biddy here. I knew a couple of Taylor song, never listened to an album of her. Ended up going to one of the Era concert with « yougin’ ». Loved it. It’s great show even if you do not know the song/lyrics. Just soak in the experience for what it is even if you are not the target audience and have fun watching the thousands of people being happy at the same time😁
