Does Tom even play guitar or are they just props

He plays some parts

They don’t have authenticity in mind only audience experience

The things is, Tom is known for layering guitarparts on their records. Back in the day he used switch between some of the rythm and melody parts while he sang, playing these newer songs. But I think they just use a backing track for some of the songs so Tom can focus on singing instead of trying to juggle between 2 guitarparts and singing at the same time. Alot of bands use backing tracks these days, U2 has been doing it for years

@@raymon8044 I know about backing tracks. From what I have seen in videos and when I saw them, he is barely playing anything at all. A few ring out chords, and even when he is playing, there ain’t much volume to his guitar, there’s a complete backing track over top of that. It’s a shame. Was an amazing concert non the less.

My exact thoughts. lots of power stands, pick slides aaaaand that's it. Tom is a famous bad guitarist but has he stop trying? Probably as @angleingandsuch said, experience over authenticity. In line with times

Saw him live in pittsburgh. He definitely plays all his parts. The backing tracks fill out his sound and honestly he lets it take over some parts like the verse in this song since I think its hard to play and sing.

Yup. Most if not all songs have sections that have more than one guitar part

@@andy_182 Radical. What was your favorite show/s out of the 6?
@andy_182 Жыл бұрын
@@CliveMillie I loved LA night 1 and San Diego Night 2, but my real favorites were San Jose and Sacramento because I was up close to Tom the entire show. San Diego also didn’t feel too different for a hometown show…I was expecting some crazy energy

That was the point of Neighborhoods though remember, an album combining each members area of artistic expertise, based on their previous years away from blink. Travis uses alot of Hip hop influenced techniques, Mark with his darker side of writing and heavier songs, and Tom with his all around musical fucking genius, using synths, electro effects etc...

That’s why I hate it. AVA is a failed band funded by a millionaire; Tom. He pushed it because he went ask crazy with free masonry.
