Thanks for uploading. I’m that nervous kid interviewed at 38:00 with my albums and photos. Brings back so many memories that had faded. I barely remember saying any of what I said as I was so nervous! But my and my pal James Morrison went on the whole UK tour and met the band a few times, as well as The Kinison who were a good laugh. Wonder what they’re up to now, 18 years later.

This was so cool to see. All of the ‘news’ that was released about the band during this time was negative - how they apparently hated each other - argued all the time - argued on stage etc - and don’t get me wrong - there’s footage of the band on stage where they sound like they’re not in great terms - but this footage shows that for all those apparent bad moments - they had some pretty good moments too Thank you for sharing this

Hey guys It wasn’t isolated footage - if you search up shows around the 2004 period - you can hear them having little digs at each other during and in between songs. In my opinion - it always felt like mark digging at Tom. I think the Dublin and Wembley shows had a few. If you jump in the comments on those shows - I’m sure some people will have time stamped the moments it happens

Blink was at its worst as a band and they just wanted to take a break, people only see that the shows were possibly good but they don't think about how bad they were having at that time. Perhaps when the cameras appear they pretended that everything was fine, but I assure you that there were no good moments at that time for them.

I know it's a rough cut but I almost hope the Blinkumentary footage doesn't leak now. There wasn't really anything in here we didn't already know. At the core all it really was was "hey, we're releasing a new album. Hey, we're touring a new album. Hey, we're being interviewed and fans are the best" followed by a clip montage for a few full songs. 🤷🏻‍♂ If the band collectively decided to scrap Blinkumentary, there's probably a good reason. tbh I can see why this was never released. I've been curious about this documentary for almost 20 years but after finally watching it I was kinda bummed to see there's no real narrative, it really just captures a moment in time from a broad point of view. Don't get me wrong - that's valuable, but it would be way more interesting to see the footage turned into a story about Blink's final months together before the split, the moments or interviews that hint towards the break-up and tensions within the band. I'm sure there are a million reasons why the footage couldn't have been used that way, but I really hope one day someone releases an amazing documentary series about the different eras of Blink, the hurt and pain of the break-ups, the side projects, the plane crash, the comebacks, Mark's fight with cancer, Tom's UFO stuff, all of it. There's so much there. Give me the Blink version of The Last Dance!

I know they got back together recently, but man when 2005 was mentioned in this documentary, and a new record was tentatively in the works, and what really did actually happened that February. Man, that hit super deep. 😢 watching this, you can kind of low-key tell they were at first on their way out. The tone and all watching this documentary. This definitely was Peak Blink for sure. I’m glad they got back together, and Tom returned tho. Tickets are super expensive however.

I enjoyed this so so much. My first ever gig at the age of 14 was the Wembley Arena show on this tour ('we're off to fucking england') and that night absolutely changed my life, but for someone now in his 30s enjoying a bit of nostalgia it's so interesting to see behind the scenes.

Funny seeing Tom call the fans “the kids”, really shows where his head was at, how at that point he was starting to feel like a dad and not part of the crowd anymore

Eh, he always called them that after Enema blew up and they gained fans of all ages. Maybe it was more like 2001, but definitely before he had children

I've known a lot more about Blink than I'm comfortable sharing, but I will say that the part I enjoyed the most was hearing Mark talk about the songwriting.......That he sings what he writes, and so does Tom. This is new information, people. I've been a fan of blink for 25 years and I've always suspected it, but it was never confirmed until now. Oh. That and Travis delivering pizzas and working in his warehouses. lol. This was incredible. Thank you.

Well the chorus of i miss you is all mark. I feel like tom wrote his verse but i could be wrong... It's very poetic and dark and mark is great with these type of lyrics

@@k-seven4438 that's really my point. I would also be curious to know if Matt and Mark split it up the same way or if they were a little better at writing for each other
