Bought this one because the older version kzfaq.infoUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQ had was really choppy and would disconnect from the wifi ALOT, was not catching everything and every week j had to charge it. So far the picture quality on this one is exceptional. I also bought a solar panel with it so I will see how this all turns out.

Yes, if you want the local recording. Get a 128GB Flash Drive and just leave it plugged in and it will record the clips to that drive as well as the cloud.

I am looking at buying a blink camera system. Is it possible to just buy Blink add-on cameras and then a sync module all separately/individually, as it is cheaper is why i ask? Or do I have to buy a camera and sync module together or as a bundle the first time?

Yes, once you have a sync module, you can just buy extra cameras and connect them to that sync module.

As long as your home Internet is up and your phone has its signal, you can view them from anywhere in the world.

What light or lights show when the batteries are fully charged?

None, this camera uses AA batteries. So you just put them in and use them till they die. The camera app will tell you as they get low on power.

Yes, yours will be a bit harder to install but once they are up you should be all set.

From my understanding of this system, Yes sadly. They dont have wifi built into the Cameras, the Cameras talk to the base station.

It should last up to 6 months depending on your settings.

How can I tell if the batteries are dead - the camera may stop responding for reasons other than dead batteries, so It's important to know when the batteries are dead.

The app will tell you as the batteries get low so you can change them.

No, you can just put in an USB Drive and record everything locally. Or you do have an option to pay the monthly fee for the cloud but its not forced.

Did you set the camera to ARM so it records from motion? Also, in the motion settings for that camera, Motion Detection has to be slid over to on.

Doesn't work with 4g or 5g wifi only 2.4

Correct, but that should not be an issue. As 2.4Ghz wifi reaches further than 5G WiFi. If you only have 1 SSID, the device will know it can only connect to the 2.4Ghz and it will connect to it automatically with no issues.
