The problem with single drop world items is the accounts just get sold or blizzard is stuck staring at an inactive locked world drop if the player quits. Happened with the rag legendary necklace and that one mecha strider back in vanilla and it’ll always happen but something like a single time per week single turn in quest chain or world boss that dropped 5% drop chance legendary weapon pool could be an alternative

Agreed for the most part. If only they rolled back the decision to allow Warlocks, Rogues and Shamans to tank and Mages to heal, I think the rest of the changes would still preserve 90% of the class fantasy.
