I stopped the video just to say how much your KZfaq channel is appreciated. Thank you for showing the reality of farm work. . . . yet you also use humor in an interesting way. It is rarely disrespectful. Your love for each other shows through. Thank you. You are a blessing to many people. 😊 . . . and now, back to the video.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. You folks do a great job of protecting your herd from the storms. My compliments to you for the care you give them. Brian my compliments to you for taking that calf to the vet late at night. You saved his life for sure. You are a fine herdsmen. You folks are having a good calf season for sure. You take excellent care of your calf’s and cows. Proud of Cole and Brian. An honor to know them. Good song and singer Brian. Leonard is popular at our state fair always. Hope the storm is not too bad. Really like those movable wind breaks and shelters. Great pieces of equipment. Thanks for everything Sonne’s. The Iowa Farm Boy.

Forced oxygen makes a ton of difference. I took a kitten into the vet and everyone said he would be dead by morning. The next morning the girls were playing with him. The vet has a hypobaric chamber to force oxygen. That cat is pestering me right now! 😂

When I first started watching KZfaq about 3 years ago, there’s a couple channels about farmers abusing their animals. Well I clicked the “do not suggest” button. I knew better, but I wish the people who do subscribe to those channels would watch yours and a couple others I watch and see how real cattleman take care of their animals. You really go above and beyond to save them and keep them healthy. Plus you always give us a good laugh.

So when I go out to check cows at 3 am ,I mostly just listen. Mama cows do a lot of talking when they are about to calve or have just calved. Cows have a language that is pretty easy to understand if you just pay attention. Anyway, I'm sure you know that with all your experience! Your operation is a great example of how beef cattle should be raised....you do an amazing job!

I laughed so hard about Earl's choc mint description. I have recently discovered choc mint Oreo cookies. Boy are they ever Delicious!!!! Just can't think of them as choc-mint yogurt. Out here in Central NY we have had a sudden arrival of summer. Syracuse hit 86 & 87 the past few days . Broke the old records. Saw Fargo was in for bad snow. That is suppose to hit us early next week Trees are greening up, flowers are blooming, bees are out, 2 neighbors mowing grass. Snow coming in about Tuesday. Couple more days of spring, then back to reality & snow. Mess up fruit trees & grape vines are going to get hit hard.

@@SonneFarms A small animal initial consultation here is £50! There are additional comprehensive charges for all medicines and any materials, equipment, X rays or lab tests. Here in the UK finding a large animal vet (except for horse vets) that will visit or take you on as a client has become a total nightmare. Most shepherds for example will euthanise a sheep- as the vet costs will likely exceed the value of the sheep and you have to pay to have it disposed of as you cannot by law bury them on farm.
