Blob might be one of the most fun cards in the history of Marvel Snap, because he's probably the biggest card in the history of Marvel Snap! This deck uses him in combination with Hela and Living Tribunal for some hilarious results.
Decklist: snap.untapped....
Power Estimate: Blob feels like a surprisingly good fit in a big Hela Discard Combo deck. He has the ability to gain a ton of stats from all the big cards the deck already wants to run. That said, Hela Discard Combo decks are still rather inconsistent and prone to disruption, and Blob doesn't change that. I had a moderately successful win rate with this list on day one, but I think we'll need more refinement to really see Blob shine.

this is a great idea, what do we take out for it? I was thinking lad, just due to the fact that he can sometimes transform into MODOK and just insta lose games like that if you aren't prepared for it, but maybe its just she hulk or something.

Having played a fair bit of Blob now I think it's safe to say the way to play him is to cheat him out early and then duplicate him. One of the first lessons I learned was that playing him early is generally not very detrimental as you still keep your hand, and the earlier you can get him out the bigger he'll be.

btw. in game with pig infinaut, the first card Blob ate was hela, meaning she was top deck I think. so you could have played modok anywhere, into hela , and aced it

The fact that Blob is a 6/4 at base is so great for Hella decks using Silver Samurai or other targeted discarders (which I lean into rather than the MODOK combo) since they'll all favor him over her, or, in the case of Sif, at least aren't guaranteed to hit the Hella if you have him in hand (Granted, Sif'ing into a 50/50 chance to discard your Hella or something is not ideal, but sometimes these things happen)

You could start running Death to try and have a guaranteed Sif target. Its what I did for a while with this idea in mind. Its just fully useless if its never discarded at the end tho.

@@jcmonay3773 I do actually do that, over the Giganto slot, having a way to get Sif down and get a safe discard even if you draw Hella early is nice. Though I've occasionally ended up just playing Death because I was up against an opponent who managed to destroy a bunch of stuff on their board early, which was pretty amusing.

Am i the only person who is having problems with Blob? Like sometimes I cheat blob out early with wave or electro and then on turn 6 I cant play cards in other locations. for example one game i got Blob out on 5 and then it wouldn't let me play Orka in Onslaughts citadel. I'm on mobile but Blob is fun when it works.

You’ll get on average 1 key a week if you do all the missions, so you can afford to spend a key or two this week. Fun factor very high, though the only really meta card is ravonna

Subterranea is skill testing players? What? Not trying to argue here as I genuinely would like to know what or how does the location skill test the player when said player drew three or more rocks solely due to that location?

Because sometimes the opponent also draws 3 or more rocks, and being able to manage risk in a game that's ultimately about wagering cubes is how you climb. In other words, if you give up every single time you draw 3 rocks, you might actually be bad. You should probably be winning some of those games.
