They don't have to pay him this season. They do have to pay Markannen this season though. And Markannen doesn't really fit in the jazz timeline, if they're trying to tank their season and develop for the next couple of years. Let's say it's a 5 year plan, of them tanking a few seasons, hitting on the Draft... They have to extend Markannen this season, it'll be a 5 season+deal, he's gonna want the max, so it'll be a 225m+ deal. Then it's gonna take years to develop their roster, let's say it takes 4-5 years... That's when Markannen will need another extension, he will be 32-ish... And if he's playing at a high level, still, he's gonna be expensive, and they'll also have to pay whatever else stars they develop lol. Whereas Kuminga...21... Fits in a better timeline.

What a ridiculous comment, this is a business, Ainges job is to make the Jazz the best they can be, it will take 5 picks, with Kuminga 4 picks, the Jazz do not value Kuminga as much as the people on this threat do. The two wings the Jazz drafted were 40% from 3, Hendricks, Williams, Kuminga is not there, an and will cost too much, my bet is they wait for a team with more picks,

I really think Looney is under rated. Sure, he's not a shooting Center, but he's a smart player that knows how to play in this warriors offense, with read and react plays. Grabs boards, and plays physical.

I love Klay and wish we kept him. But we did get better. I think Buddy is an underrated pick up. If Wiggins could actually care about his job I don't think we would be in this situation. If we get Markkanen we will be in the hunt again but we can't give up JK no matter what.

Cam Johnson or DFS could be a solid pickup, but at the end of the day they're just good role players, at this point in Steph's career I feel like we need an all-star caliber guy like Markkennen who can be our second option to help Curry especially since the west is so stacked.

I actually think the BI fit would be nice with GSW. Some concerns ofcourse, because he doesnt like to shoot 3s, he doesnt create a ton of separation, and he does seem like he loses motivation... But i think he would shine playing with Curry. Hes also a pretty solid passer. Markannen would still be way better and check alot of boxes with what the warriors need, but if that deal never happens, i think BI would be great.

Bro Kuminga is the #2 option, he averages 25 pts in the last 30 games. Check for me, but I heard it on live T.V. in a warriors game. Also he has been healthy and it's clearly the warriors best defender. He has the fastest feet. Wiggins has fell out

I'm open to any trade that isn't lopsided.... If they have to give up the farm for one player, they would just get worse... The reason they failed this year is they play no defense... Offense was not the problem....

No one under 7” is going to make a difference to this roster. Their tallest players are 6”9. Ever other team has at least one or more players over 7”.

Ingram is lazy play no defense I need another wing we don't need another guard... Moody will never see the court. What has he done for the pelicans and he has Zion there and he had a center you want to turn down a 7-foot center when we've been complaining about size forever you want to turn down a stretch big who shoots 40% from 3 an average is non rebounds in 54 from the field do you understand the pick-and-pop that would go on between Curry and Lauri? It's almost indefensible. No we need the Utah center

Ingram if he defends. Ben Simmons is what warriors need. LM is fine but you can’t trade with Danny Ainge. Hes famous for being horrible to trade with. Any other tall wings that can defend a seven footer is fine.maybe Kawhi for a boat load of picks so clippers can rebuild. Given their offseason the clippers gonna suck this year anyway.

Cam johnson is a pretty good defender and is taller and a much better shooter. Career 39% from 3 and averaged over 12 ppg for the past 4 seasons.
