Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm a beginner and love millenary ,but don't have all the tools you need.!! Most millenary tutorial's use expensive tools to make it happen.!! And for a beginner you really don't know what you need..! Love and kisses from the Netherlands.

Thank you so much for your tutorials! I have always loved hats and by watching your videos I have gained the confidence to start making a few. Please keep them coming! Also where can you buy the wonder clips? Jo x
@SHMillinery3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jo, thank you so much, and I am so pleased you feel inspired to take up millinery! I buy my clips online, places like amazon etc, but if you search quilt clips, a lot come up. I hope this helps

What is pva solution? And does conture, always mean its hand sewn? I always heard people say oh that's conture, does that mean its hand sewn ....like dress and clothes also, just interested in learning the word useage..

Hi Polyvinyl acetate (PVA, PVAc, poly(ethenyl ethanoate): best known as wood glue, white glue, carpenter's glue, school glue, Elmer's glue in the US. Couture means high end , expensive, which in turn means very high quality fabrics and finish (e.g.hand sewn) hope this helps

Hi. Silly question: Can I use any type of headband?
@SHMillinery3 жыл бұрын
Hi, no question is silly 😀 as long as the band is sturdy enough and wide enough to take the weight of what ever hat you are making, then it is up to you what you use.

Please can sinnamay be used in place of bulkram? Thank you.
@SHMillinery3 жыл бұрын
@@patiencejohn-kalipa4844 you would have to use extra stiffener on the fabric. The sinamay doesn't have as much starch in it
@floxysi74354 жыл бұрын
What is the name of d material u put in between the fabric. I mean the lining
@SHMillinery4 жыл бұрын
It is millinery buckram 😁

Pls did u add stiffener? Am wondering how ur fabric came out hard
@SHMillinery4 жыл бұрын
The stiffened buckram made it solid. No other stifner used.
