I am NOT a CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher) nor do I intend on becoming a CZT. Although some of my art can be considered a "Zentangle" - MOST are what I call "Freeform Tangles". Although I use a lot of the same patterns, my creations are MUCH less restrictive than traditional Zentangle.

What paper do you use? I find when I use sharpies they bleed and make uneven lines on my paper.

Canson, Romani or Conqueror are great to work in! A bit of texture in those papers, I use them for my drawings and work very good.

I learned early in my drawing career that sharpie drawings yellow badly over time. Buy better quality pens or convert drawing to other format right away.

Devra Chernick Thank you, that's good advice. I've just noticed that some of my early Sharpie pictures are yellowing. I'll run the best ones through the printer and go over the worst affected parts with better quality pens. Cheers!

Why do all these videos have to speed up the tape soo fast. Its hard to learn this way. Grr! Maybe I belong I Pinterest because all these videos are the same

Jamie Benjamin KZfaq has an option under settings in the video to slow the speed. These videos are always sped up because otherwise you'd be watching a 1-8 hour video. There is a playlist of tutorials that are slower so you can learn the different patterns.
