'Is anybody happy? Are they in love?'. Liza Anne sings of a now very common kind of existential crisis: doom scrolling and not believing anyone is having as good of time as they say they are. We invited Liza to play 'Internet Depression' in a pool bar on a slow weekday afternoon and as fate would have it, this bar is just one block away from where they live in Paris. Liza threw the dice, made a full house on first try and left us with goosebumps after singing such a touching song. It is little to say that it takes courage to write about your own confusion and weariness, and those feelings are so relatable. 'Are we just standing in the bottom of the canyon / Hoping somebody hears our yell?' Well if the music is that good, we might keep standing for a while…
