Strap on in and prepare yourself for an entire hour of Blonde on Blonde talk.
Bob Dylan's 1966 magnum opus, a sprawling double album (the first in rock and roll history) with a backstory so thick it could have had its own episode, Blonde on Blonde was the last of the "Electric Trilogy" that started in 1965 and the last before his retreat into the American wilderness with the Basement Tapes and John Wesley Harding.
Recent Dylan convert Joe is almost guaranteed to like this one (there's way more bridges!) but will he get past 4.5 stars? Will he want to slice and dice this one down to a single disc, or has he made peace with the bloat and self-indulgence on display here?
Just be sure to listen for Dylan's passionate and heartfelt paean to his FAVORITE SONG EVER.
