Having been in this position myself when doing title in season 1, I can say I understand your feelings here around UE however, have you actually had a log analysed? Because the moment you do, you'll find out just how much you're giving up by playing it. You're 100% better off learning to improve and press your buttons better than thinking UE is magically helping you, and I'm saying that as someone who was in the exact same position in Season 1, until Mandl came and put a foot my ass and showed me via logs.

@@Darkmech I've looked over my logs between the two and I will admit I'm sure there could be some gain but I'm just not feeling it. I never really touched it season one but I feel with this tier that I've gotten more value than I thought. It doesn't replace good button play but it's a decent cushion. Too many times on fortified I could just get squished in one hit even with VB and tap going into the pull. This may sound controversial but I don't put a lot into everything mandl says. Shadowlands I asked acherus why so many dks were going high mastery when vers haste was supposed to be best and he said it was just their best gearing at the time and they would go vers if they could. So instead I started talking to a lot of dks pushing mid 20s on my server and it was eye opening. Almost like how we went through a whole expansion thinking crit was pretty low priority and then suddenly woke up to realize that it's actually pretty handy

Mandl, Asa and Meyra are the reason crit came to light in SL, honestly regardless if you like Mandl or not, his information isn't just his information it's reviewed by the other TC's, and the info they spit out is based on numbers, and review, not feelings. It's a game in the end of the day, so obviously play what talents you like, it's your character, but you're missing out on so much damage and healing as a result. If you ever want to know just how far you're falling short bring a log to my discord and we can show you.

@@Darkmech I'd be down to see where I can improve. Ultimately it is just about what is comfortable for me. I'll give it another chance with Blood shot and see how it goes and maybe you guys can point out my flaws.

Hey mate, thank you =D straight up honesty, none of it matters until you hit a really high key point (25-27), and even then you would likely be surprised at just how much it even matters there. All the secondaries for BDK are very close, Mastery is the worst from an offensive aspect though, but amazing at the other side. Haste and Crit is going to give you the most damage (most likely, sim ofc) Kyrasis is a very good player but has always had a tendency to draw a line straight to the largest survival ouput line which for him would be Vers/Mastery. At 19/20/21/22 none of it matters, pressing your buttons is the most important thing. Haste/Crit, Haste/Mastery are all great choices, there is also nothing wrong with Vers.

Hey mate, welcome back!! So the buffs/debuffs/ tracker is called Elkanos Buff Bars, and those vertical bars with Vamp Blood, IBF etc they are weakauras set up as progress bars.

I agree would love to see them made baseline in the spec

Would send the Beacon and Grapnel I think if I had my choice out of those mate. Just obviously be weary of your beacon timing and be sure you're hitting your grapnel after a DS with Bloodshot talent to get the most powah out of it

Bonestorm is dogshit and not worth the point, you could drop the RT point and Perseverance of the Ebon Blade for a little more juice but that is honestly about it. The DK talents are very lackluster in that regard

Hey mate, haha no, I was on Bonechewer in Stoic as Darrkon/Vem and new Darkmech, Evilfox, Vort and co. Long story - short, I needed a name in MOP for my Monk, thought fuck Darkmech was a cool name and here we are. I'm still in touch with the old Darkmech, he streams under the name Dakotaz these days and is mega famous.

I would say most tanks are pretty simplistic these days, however, some are certainly more involved than others. DK for me is the #1 tank to play due to having so much agency of your health. It has a bit of learning curve but is very rewarding when played well and has A LOT less buttons in the rotation than a Brewmaster =)

Hey mate, I use an @ cursor DND macro, an @ player DND macro and then a macro for Abomination Limb / Raise Dead and Empower Rune Weapon

Due to the talents having 0 rotational impact on the spec play. I didn't think it was a huge deal. But thanks for the feedback and I can look to change it in 10.2

Yeh the meta at the moment is probably the most set I've ever seen at the moment, this season is cooked. BDK is more than fine though all the way to 26/27 area and our damage is pretty solid atm

Agreed - Problem is unless your tank is flavour of the month key holders are not interested on higher keys. An addon that somehow quantifies your performance in M+ would be ace. Based on your parse or avoidable deaths? One for the coders out there......
