Think this guys right, the tide is starting to turn. I realise that this is years later now but City planned to get Pep by playing the long game. They prepared by bringing over his support group in Beguiristan and Soriano, men he knew and trusted at Barca so that he knew that he would have them in place to do what he needed from them. There was no long game in place to get him from the Glazers. Any hope of United getting him was just a pipedream.

He only asked for a wage rise twice in his career at old trafford so that's an invalid point. He also works harder across the pitch than any of our other players combined. He's also scored the most goals for us out of the whole squad that we have right now. I say he's well worth the wage a week for what he contributes to the club. I bet you don't even watch Rooney play 90 mins.
