I love how this movie didnt even try to hide that it was a knockoff of Bloodsport and Kickboxer. Everything from the basic premiss of the movie coming right out of Kickboxer to Bolo Yeung being the champion to beat. Yeung is even wearing the same clothes he wore in Bloodsport and his character has the exact same name 🤣 Great film though, hadn't seen it for about 25years.

Acting was bad for most part dialog could be done better training scenes could be represented better but at the end of the day great movie to watch brings my childhood back. Older martial art movies have spirit that words cannot explain unfortunately they don't make martial art movies like this anymore not even close. Other than IP man

Best fighting movie of all time next to king of the kickboxers. This movie inspired street fighter video game with the score. Look at the bully John, he resembles Johnny cage mortal combat. In 1974 kurata played dragon in the series fight dragon. That inspired sonny Chibas street fighter as well.

The fight at the end was unreal,all those punches that were landed to the head and body by Bolo would kill or maim a lot of good fighters,But some how the Hero fought back and won..still a good movie..6-10..
