The comic is very well done and it's one of my favorites that doesn't come from DC or Marvel. It's by Valiant who have some pretty great character overall. The character looks completely different in the comics however. He much more resembles a vampire, with pale white skin, and a huge red circle on his chest (alluded to in this trailer when Vin's chest started glowing). Think of The Punisher, but as a supersoldier whose blood is full of nano-bots constantly healing him. He requires a lot of food energy as well after serious injury (like a vamp), so he's killed and eaten animals raw before. It seems they tried to eliminate some of the weirder elements of the comic (at least in this trailer).
