This movie shows why it's important to be yourself. He tried so hard to be Van Damme and he failed because there is only one Van Damme. *Be yourself, be you, and that's how you will succeed.*

Actually: But JCVD didn't play himself either...he played a fake dude anyway.....Van Damme (with that f'ed up accent) was portraying an American White Boy named Fran Dux, who none of us ever heard of before the movie or saw in a fight and was also a liar, so the movie was for entertainment only. All JCVD movies were garbage because he looked the same in all movies.....white boys get built up in Hollywood (Segal, Chuck Norris, who is pure garbage).

@@Malt454 It had Bolo Yeung in it. A 90 minute film of a cow standing in a field would be an absolute classic if it had Bolo Yeung saunter onto the field, slap the cow a few times, give a smile and a thumbs up the 4th wall and walk off again.

Malt54, random youtube, today had to be sedated with elephant tranquilizers when reading youtube comments he found someone who liked something he didn't. After he was found smashing his keyboard repeatedly off his table concerned (or had seen it all before loudly sighing) relatives contacted emergency services who arrived to find malt54 chewing what remained of his keyboard. Interviewing neighbors one remarked "All we heard was loud banging, some foul language, and someone shouting "Are you yelling at your computer again?..."

The good thing about Bloodsport 2 and 3 is that they didn't kill Frank Dux like they did with Kurt and David Sloane in the Kickboxer sequels.

Unpopular opinion. Obviously the original Bloodsport is superior, but i rather enjoyed the sequel’s. The guy they chose to replace Van Damme was a formidable actor and o rather enjoyed the story arch, it presented elements that were original and not necessarily copying the first Bloodsport. I rather enjoyed the Blood Sport franchise although they should have stopped it at three.

No, this isn't better than the first Bloodsport, which is arguably the best martial arts movie ever made after Bruce died. This isn't about Frank Dux, either, but martial arts in general. It's not a bad movie. It's better than the third, and if I'm not mistaken, there's even a fourth one that's really bad. Daniel Bernhardt's Daniel Bernhardt, not Van Damme, nor is he meant to be.

Daniel Bernhardt is cool. He's an an awesome martial artist and in retrospect has featured in a tonne of cool movies. No one is going to beat Van Damme, woe betide he who dares. Daniel Bernhardt has still got it though (He fucks up Reeves in John Wick). As does M Jai White... and of course, Scott Adkins. Hate all you want, without actors and movies like this the whole genre suffers.
