I met him in 88' just after the filming of Bloodsport, and still got a framed pic of us. His presence was quite intimidating! especially in those days

Bolo, the best at playing the villian in all his films. He didn't say much, he let his martial arts skills do the talking, which was what made him dangerous and not to be messed with. Even as an elderly man, he still keeps himself healthy and in great shape.

The kumite was based on $ fights held by the Triads in and around the walled city in Hong Kong my one instructor I trained with in the 80s and 90s attended. Interesting stories, also I met Bolo in 1988 when I was 13 at a tournament and still got a framed picture of us I never asked him anything I was so intimidated he asked me to throw a kick and just said HMMM GOOD! 😂

I like that he’s still good friends with Van Damme. Van Damme said he started karate because of enter the dragon. And then he got to star in several films with Bolo. Awesome

His real name is not Bolo. Bolo is the name of the character he plays in Enter The Dragon with Bruce Lee. He simply continued to use it as a stage name afterwards.

Frank Dux is a known fraud. Bolo on the other hand is legit badass. He left China to live in Hong Kong. Any guesses on how he got there? He swam there. Bolo is a legit legend. He’s very shy and reserved, hence the short answers.
