Getting closer, but the best randomizer is Alchemy rando. Farming Alkahests so you can de-craft an ice ring so it turns into a Valkyrie Sword, a Not So Grump Mask, and 50 Bixbits. Yes, that happened to me.

Gotta admit, they really got me with the plot twist at the end. I expected Alfred, Zangetsu, or Johannes to be final bosses, but not her.

Going to throw this out there, most weapons have street-fighter esque moves you can do, and the benefit of the Zangetsuto is that it has access to a lot of them, including a parry if I remember. It may be worth learning them considering the weapon's significance in the randomizer

If I was to make a guess, Backup Zangetsuto and Backup Invert are probably triggered by some kind of Logic Error that says the logic for it, or a Flight, is unreasonable, if not impossible, to find, and it gives up on reshuffling the spheres and just plops a second copy down, obvious reasons this could trigger is Zangetsuto in Den, but I wouldn't be surprised if certain spots are just wonky and had bad logic flags so the backups get placed far more often than they should Why the Santa Hat chest? Iunno, its not even a Weapon or Key Item so its way out of range, it and Invert are probably placed in those spots because there's no logic demands to access them and they're just enough out of the way that you don't get told immediately the seed is broken

I remember the Blue Rose being available on the shop randomiser, and it finally felt like I was playing as the canon version of Miriam on the front cover 😂

My favorite thing about shopsanity is that sometimes you get the drinks that increase mp generation in the shop, which can be a huge boost.

Dominique's lunging elbow is one of the most annoying speedrun killers in ramdomizers & a big nuisance casually.

I did my first RotN rando the other day but forgot to randomize the shop. Even so I think the seed I rolled could be beaten under an hour since so many good things could be obtained early on.

5:00-5:03 So I'm not 100% sure but I'm fairly certain the Recycle Hat only shows up on the default sidequest for it and MAYBE if you set randomized alchemy. I've literally never seen it in the shop or on randomized sidequests. Could be just be unlucky but I've done a lot of randos for this game with about 400 hours of playtime for this game.

Would love to see a Gun only rando.

With shop rando and alchemy rando I recently got diamond bullets best gun and infinite bullet hat right away.

Love Bloodstained except for the whole accessories and headwear being visible all the time. If I had the option I'd love to just have Miriam's base appearance and have the item's stats.

Why do you call it a race when you're playing solo, wouldn't it be more of a speed run or a time attack? And if you're racing against someone else, could we have a link to that too?
