❤️ your videos! One API tip re: Bloomberg / Excel: Don't use the "today()" function from excel. Instead use the Bloomberg API equivalent "btoday()" If you use the "today()" function, each time a cell changes, it triggers a new API call to Bloomberg. If you make many calls you may run into hitting API daily limits and slowed down processing on your computer of the sheet. btoday() avoids retriggering full data set API calls. And I've hit many many daily limits of API pulls from bloomberg over my time. :)

@@BrainyFinance Yes, for example if I want to see how a stock has performed in the month of September since 2008 so I will have 12 September months as result.. Currently I have to do it with bdh and it involves lots of cleaning so just wanted to know if it is possible with BQL ?

Hello, I need huge help. I am working on M&A UK Banking Industry. I need to collect the Closing Stock price. I don't h know how to use Bloomberg. Please help me. I couldn't find anybody, who could help me. My submission due in August. I still haven't managed to get the data. Please could you upload a video on this soon.
