What a rude presenter, she just cuts Steve off and wasn't listening... I don't ever watch Bloomberg, and this snippet demonstrates why. Steve's trying to make the point about Jobs being a visionary but a poor manager and then returning to Apple post "NeXT" as a good manager (or rather better manager too) and the following turn around. But poor Woz never gets it over until what the fifth attempt at the 7m28 mark

Well it's like when some lawyers try to lead a witness rather than just let them give their testimony. If he did not like how Steve was portrayed in the film he should be encouraged to say why not invited on the show to be manipulated. It may not have been up to Ashton though a director tells you how they want the character portrayed and the actor has the job of fulfilling the directors vision.

Steve showed me a different kind of life I never could imagine. I believe it was 5th grade when he donated black and white notebooks and printers to each individual in class! Along with prince of persia pre installed :) I also remember him taking a bunch of students into downtown los gatos to have ice cream @ Swenson:)

Chris Nelvin Steve knew enough coding and engineering to get by as you can notice in the film if you watch it. Woz was the guy who was the brains in the beginning. Both got boosted out of the company pretty much and it was Steve Jobs business knowledge that landed him back at apple and eventually saved the company with help of investment from bill gates. I think that comparing all of these individuals to eachother is kinda silly and redundant though because this company existed for a long time without either one of them and right now exists in this way too. Woz is still on the pay roll yes, but he has no influence whatsoever in the company aside from fans that still buy Apple because he is still alive. I find this stuff interesting but not compelling enough to purchase more apple products. I'm enjoying linux a hell of a lot more than using osx and you can do many many more things on a linux box than you can on any apple device that exists.

If you guys are serious about interviewing people of importance, get someone who cares to actually talk TO the guests, instead of AT them. Really, there's no reason to play hardball on an interview like this. Let your guests speak, don't interrupt them. It's reporting like this that pisses people off. You guys don't need to break down all of the information into tiny bite sized pieces, we WANT to hear what your guests have to say without the host trying to reign them in.

Steve Wozniak's one of the most innovative and creative engineers the computer industry's ever seen. His inventions revolutionized the very definition of what we call a "personal computer". As an engineer, he's allowed to comment of technology, but he's not talking as a computer engineer. He speaks from the perspective of a technology consumer or a hardcore 'techie'. I'd rather listen to a computer engineer talk about technology than someone who just ran the business (Jobs, Ballmer and Cook).

I found this story already in three different places, the details a bit different, but the 700 and 5000 are always close... unless somebody tells me it's just a myth, I tend to give this as a comment from now on everytime I see Job's face with a motivational quote next to it... ----------------------------------------------------------- While the duo was working at Atari, the company offered a $100 reward for each microchip that could be eliminated from its games’ design. Wozniak reduced the number of chips by 50 but the reward of $5000 was never received by him. Instead Jobs chose to pocket the money, telling Wozniak that Atari had only awarded them with $700 out of which Wozniak would receive half the share as agreed between them. Wozniak was only to find this out later on.

woz is the fucking man. He keeps it real. He loved steve. Btw, I run a windows/linux box, so I'm not a fanboy at all, even though I've heavily considered building a hakintosh.
