The order issues remind me of when Rudy/Alpha Investments openly admitted he paid a little extra for some product, from distributors, and some of that was confirmed product for other stores somewhere. I wouldn’t be shocked if people like him are just buying up product to scalp it, or others who pretend they’re stores and get away with getting product for stores by using fake accounts to fake attendance

Squirrels combo is very close to being a thoroughbred CEDH contender. A deck that seems to age like fine wine. We just got Marionette Apprentice. Quite possibly the best low to the ground aristocrat in the list. The issue is quite a few of the tribal cards are silly. How could a woodland creatures set, with a dedicated squirrels precon, fail harder than Nut Collector for the squirrel tribe?

I'm curious what you all think about the Encore Electromancer? As an already rare card and the Anime fans snatching them up for their personal collections could it end up being one of the most expensive modern cards out there? Trying to decide if I should keep or sell now.

I will disagree with you slightly on Deranged Hermit. Yes, it will fall from these lofty highs, but not to where you said. DH hasn't been below $25 in four solid years, ever since enough good squirrel support cards were released to make the tribal archetype viable. Given that it is a reserved list card and more people who have such a deck will be unlikely to part with their single copy for dirt, I think the price will remain appropriately high (but nowhere where it is now).

Don't really get the inflation on deranged hermit mainly because squirrels are getting a commander deck it's definitely gonna have some interesting tech choices. Plus you know wizards are gonna give some lords or other cards that are power pushed in the main set.

You are right man. I am so glad i decided to preorder the EDH Bloomburrow deck on my LGS because they went out of stock. And upon asking if they are going to renew the stock they said they presold EVERYTHING THEY HAD AND THEY CANNOT DO MORE SUPPLIES. My friends are fuming so hard about that, because we support our store and being forced to choose between Amazon or scalpers is very, very sad. The upcoming Bloomborrow Commander Party (precon casual event) will not offer any Bloomborrow deck to buy and play at the shop, what will be the very first time in the LGS story such a thing has happened...

lol I know PLENTY of people who wouldn’t play magic if not for commander. With that being said, magic wouldn’t be what it is today without commander. That goes for the good, and for the bad.
