Beatboxing was born in 1980’s NYC as one of the five elements of hip-hop with the guidance of legends like Doug E Fresh, Kid Lucky, and Rahzel. After decades of evolution underground and overseas, innovation continues to push the art form.
American Beatbox is a platform for the beatboxing community to carry the torch into the future, dedicated to helping beatboxers reach their potential and connect with audiences worldwide via content, livestreams, merchandise, battles and events.
The American Beatbox Championships is the premiere beatbox competition in the USA. Every November, over Veteran’s Day Weekend, the most talented beatboxers from around the country come to NYC to compete for the titles, bragging rights, and a spot to represent their country at the World Champs. 2019 marks the ten year anniversary of the ABCs, and the first official year of American Beatbox launching as a platform.

I had voted for Rayul on this one, thought it was very close though. I thought they both had very solid first rounds, but Rayul's counter in the second was perfect and his flawlessness really stood out for me here and took my vote. Nonetheless, Bloomer was really hype and really good as well so I could see how Trung and Gene would have voted for him.

idk what to call bloomer... non traditional? i just cant understand him, to me he does the same thing. and does way too much high vocalizations in his beat that aren't pleasant to the ears. rayul is sick, he took it for me as well.....

I mean, in a world where most of the beatbox population is consume by throath bass, liprolls, inward bass among other "commercial" sounds i think bloomer brings something really fresh, an non predictable. His style is unique and the fact that he keeps it without falling for some patters and structures that are ''new'' school best seller is great and i think him winning this one reflects that, both are amazing tho and who ever was the winner totally deserved it.

Bloomers been in the spotlight for a while, hence why he uses his routines in different competitions. Rayul is pretty new to battling compared to bloomer and isnt as technical. Rayul is still a goat tho.

It's not the same routine ... Infact bloomer is HIGHLY HIGHLY technical ... The fact that he can use the same sounds in so many variations is a testament to how skilled he is as a beatboxer
